It’s cold in Llandudno too and the Goats are down in the town again
I’ve been busy on line shopping
New chew proof leads for Dorothy
Underpants x 6
Some zombie dvds
A footstool
A hand blender
I paid my speeding fines on line too
Spoke to an old friend who is poorly
Read some more of my book
And realised I have absolutely nothing to talk about
I dunno, that seems quite a lot to me! How many other people can go from goats-to-go to mountain ranges to a new footstool(nice!) all in one stream of consciousness? I salute you! A mental magpie indeed. The scope and calibre of your daily posts are as amazing as they are fascinating. And congratulations on the underpants! A boring necessity easy to get distracted from buying by something much more exciting (zombie dvds) if not as useful.;)
ReplyDeleteCheers liz xx

DeleteA lovely name
The goats are a lovely sight would love to see them in person.
ReplyDeleteThey are magnificent . Especially the big billies
DeleteYou've done a walk with lovely weather and beautiful views, seen the goats, talked to a friend, read a book and done some shopping...that sounds like an exciting day to me,too! As for chew proof...Dorothy will see about that. Sounds like a challenge...
ReplyDeleteShe’s destroyed another lead, a gift from trendy carol, today
DeleteInteresting little footstool. It looks like it should have a head.
ReplyDeleteIt’s cute isn’t it
DeleteI wonder if the goats are in town because it's warmer there? Maybe with all the pavement?
ReplyDeleteYes and pickings are good, nthey love privet hedge
DeleteYour narrative was quite interesting and the photos wonderful so it seems to me that you had plenty to talk about. I wonder if Albert will claim the perfect new footstool?
ReplyDeleteOh, and it's Wednesday, February 10, in case you still need to know. :)
Hugs!
Thanks babs
DeleteAlbert already has several special places
The little yellow chair in the living room , the window seat in my bedroom , the little Victorian brass bed in the east wing
The bathtub when the dogs are too much
Where're the undercrackers? 🤪
ReplyDeleteSteady mave

ReplyDeleteIs the foot stool chew proof? and the underpants? The stool is lovely.
ReplyDeleteDorothy only chews leads , she has destroyed 6
DeleteIf I may be so bold as to ask John-would your new under garments be black silk ones? x
ReplyDeleteNo they wouldn’t !!
DeleteEnjoy your nice, quiet day of puttering about!
ReplyDeleteI miss excitement , just a little x
DeleteSounds like a busy and productive day to me. xx
ReplyDeleteA plodding day
DeleteSounds like a normal Wednesday to me!
ReplyDeleteIt was a gentle day of nothing
DeleteNothing to talk about...some days are like that even in Trlawnyd. I have mispelled that, haven't I?
ReplyDeleteIt’s Trelawnyd .....I may re post a set of locals pronouncing the village name again xxx
DeleteThose goats are a cheeky bunch.
ReplyDeleteIt’s as though they’ve seen lockdown as their own personal holiday x
DeleteTHE GOATS! and you will have to model your new undies for us!
ReplyDeleteLol not a chance in hell xx
DeleteThere is a guy in New York who posts a photo of the underwear he is wearing, everyday.
DeleteAnd do you watch him every day David .lol . ?
DeleteI wanna know the NYC guy's website!
Deleteand you are sexy, john. think of the fame you would have!
The view from the Gop is discussion enough! (Have added soup recipe in Snowdrops posting)
ReplyDeleteThank you , I’ve written yours and Rosica’s down x
DeleteYou live in a very picturesque area. The roaming goats seem to be a signature feature. Are they friendly when someone approaches? Shopping and bill paying online is convenient and time saving. Nice footstool.
ReplyDeleteThe goats are wild creatures and won’t be approached . They walk gently away and melt into side streets and behind cars
DeleteLOVE the footstool, I have a thing for footstools, any stool really and small tables ... it's getting to be an obsession, I'm running out of places to put them!!
ReplyDeleteI thought is was rather you when I saw it
DeleteBeautiful views from the Gop. I love that last goat picture. They seem to have all gathered at that building for a purpose. Maybe they had an appointment? ☺
ReplyDeleteLol the building is a school
DeleteWe all seem to be blogging about the mundane lately. Hey, we're all in this together.
ReplyDeleteYes, and the mundane can be interesting ....just x
DeleteLove the footstool... would love to be up on the Gop
ReplyDeleteSeeing that view and would also love to see the goats xxx
When you visit we will have a walk up there
DeleteIt's a nice fat footstool.
ReplyDeleteWhen you have time. What is a Gop?
The Gop is the name of the hill beneath which Trelawnyd shelters
DeleteIt has a Neolithic burial mound on its summit which gives it a look like a mini volcano
Happy hairy hedge trimmers!
ReplyDeleteI think the main group you can see is the big male group . The females are having their kids on the orme
Deleteit looks like it's 'goats take over the town day'!
ReplyDeleteThe kids are being born too, rather early I think . Several babies can be seen from the hospice
DeleteGoats and footstools are good enough for me to hear about ! My highlight of the day was watching my dog discover his puddles were frozen over ! X
ReplyDeleteWe are becoming creatures that are easily pleased
DeleteNot a bad thing...x
DeleteJust a snapshot of your day is enough for me... and those great views. I love the footstool. That would go great with our recent chair purchase.
ReplyDeleteIt’s classic but modern . I thought x
DeleteYour last sentence made me laugh nothing to talk about, I enjoyed every word and photos as well, what a pretty place you live in, I think Mary might claim the footstool as it looks long enough for her.
ReplyDeleteIt’s strange but I too like conversational posts
DeleteRachel ( above) is very good at chatting about her ( seemingly mundane) day
I always enjoy what she says she has for tea
I never have much to say but I always find something even if its only a tin of salmon.x
DeleteOr a sardine x
DeleteI have been losing track of days also. I need to get out more.
ReplyDeleteI’ve started your book
DeleteI will try the recipe P has sent too.I think marmite may be included in the recipe a bit like miso for the umami flavour x(sweet, sour, umami)
ReplyDeleteThat's correct Flis.
DeleteWahooo! I LOVE that footstool! Glad you showed us that, and not the thunder pants! The photos speak for themselves John.
ReplyDeleteChain lead! lovely views and nice footstool.
ReplyDeleteAll chain leads have leather handles
DeleteOnly 6 underpants JG, do you commando on day 7, do let me know !! MUCH LOVE
ReplyDeleteI have 6 intact other pairs
DeleteG strings I do believe!-What colour would they be if it isn't too impertinent a question?x
DeletePlenty there to talk about until tomorrow John. x
ReplyDeleteNite weave x
DeleteIt's probably been 17 years or better since my trip up Snowdon by train and it was completely socked in by fog during my time on top.
ReplyDeleteI do like your Goats.
ReplyDeleteLife subjects are closing down at the moment, this lock down is much harder.
ReplyDeleteSo John, here is a coincidence for you. Last August my brother sent me a photo of my grandparents and great grandparents on holiday somewhere. They were posed with the rest of the occupants of a boarding house. My brother had no idea where it was but the name of the boarding house was just visible and I found through Google that it was Eivion, one of a pair of boarding houses that stod on Trinity Square in Llandudno. This made a lot of sense since my grandfather always liked Llandudno and he probably got that from family holidays. I looked at Trinity Square on Google Street View and the right most of the two boarding houses, Bryn Eglwys is still standing 80+ years later but Eivion was demolished and Boots the Chemist is there now. So now you see the coincidence. The lower half of the middle picture on your post shows a gateway with a goat that has gone inside. It is stood where my ancestors posed for their picture all of those years ago.
