Some lovely welsh voices for a Sunday
6 am and off to work
Just bumped into Mrs Trellis who was out with Blue
It is very cold and she had her usual tall babble hat on and a matching super long scarf
She told me that she missed Church so very much
The cockerel is still alive and crowing lustily from the graveyard
I told her
Cold just thinking about 6AM
ReplyDeleteI know same again on Monday

DeleteHello!
ReplyDeletePerhaps you should encourage the church to organise a live link up with its congregation. Either Facebook or Zoom could oblige.
We look forward to our Sunday Zoom service with St. George's church in Venice where the congregation has increased tenfold since going online. Not the same as the real thing but a good alternative way of staying in touch.
They have one, I’m not sure if Mrs trellis has internet
DeleteThis song did not win the Oscar for Best Song of the Year and you hear it everywhere. Can you guess which song won?
ReplyDeleteNo Dave do tell xx
DeleteMy mum and dad took me to see The Sound of Music when I was 7-I liked the yodeling song-Once when I was a teenager I was walking past a shop one evening with my dishy libyian and the surprising sound of someone yodeling eminated from a shop x
ReplyDeleteIt hired me but I was around 5
DeleteDid you say it tired you John?-because I didn't like to be rude about the film earlier but I recall I slept for a while when I was around 7 x
DeleteBrrrrrrr! We have snow this morning but it will soon turn to rain so all will be a soggy mess.
ReplyDeleteLovely voices and song - ta! I agree with CharlotteP that virtual choirs on You Tube can set your heart soaring.
Greetings to Mrs Trellis!
Hugs!
Thanks babs
DeleteWhat amazing voices - and not unexpected from the Welsh of course! Thanks John so much for introducing me to these wonderful young singers and musicians - I can't stop listening on this wet, dreary North Carolina morning. I've sent the link to several - including my granddaughter (the first soprano) whom I know will love listening.
ReplyDeleteStay well and safe.
Mary -
U too Mary x
DeleteI have not heard of a babble hat until this very day. I wandered off to google and got my question answered. The music was very nice.

ReplyDeleteIt’s been productive x
DeleteJings! Those voices! Those Welsh lasses!! (Even the chaps look ok, and all can sing). I may need to listen, and watch, again.
