  8. Even though I'm working from home and won't be off until 4:30, I had a tiny half glass of champagne at noon when President Biden was sworn in! (Shh...!) I plan to drink a whole lot more tonight! Oh, Happy Day.

Stephani Germanotta (Lady GaGa) was so good. A true singer and artist. Not seen on the pool footage was where she was pointing: at the Capitol flag -- still there after the attack and suddenly bathed in sunlight. Garth Brooks made me cry with Amazing Grace. And President Biden's inaugural address made me think there may be hope for us after all.

  29. From beginning to end an outstanding day. Shed a few wee tears from time to time. May the healing begin, and not just nation wide but world wide too. Gaga and Jennifer were amazing. I'm always so impressed when someone can stand up and belt out a song under such pressure to get it right. And young and so very talented Amanda. Wow. X

  34. Tears shed here too. He whose name I shall never speak again, is gone and relegated to the dustbin of history to face his mounting legal and financial troubles. Now we move forward and already, with 17 Executive Orders, President Biden has undone some of the biggest and most egregious things. Tell the world we're back and stronger than ever!

  38. Yes I also thought Amanda Gorman was amazing and thought how sad it was that John Lewis was not there to see it, but at the same time I'm glad that he also did not have to witness the horror in the white house of the gun toting mob who had murder on their mind.

Congratulations. You have a president owned by China. I'm sure Uyghurs are as pleased as you all. You can continue to label those that disagree with your political opinions horrible demeaning things and depend on politicians to make your decisions.. Did your parents teach you that or are you empowered by the internet. Would you call me names to my face? Enough, please, enough.
