Mooching

It’s colder today
I had some lilies delivered.
They were left on the kitchen wall wrapped in brown paper.
No note.
I’ve put them in the shrimp vase in the kitchen window.
They smell lovely

I feel flu-like today and my arm aches , both normal reactions to the covid jab. So I’ve done little but read and eat pot noodles in bed with my fleece pyjamas on . Subsequently  the cottage became very cold by mid afternoon.
I lit the fire late
And went out to see old Trevor as he passed on his daily constitutional . I promised to take him for his covid jab when he finally gets an appointment .
He’s 95

Tonight I’m taking part in a Gay Mans online Pub Quiz on zoom for the first time which will prove interesting.
The dogs are dozing together on the couch

  1. The lilies are beautiful - and so is the vase. Sounds like the sort of day when to do very little is best. Hope the reactions disappear quickly. And that old Trevor gets his call for the vaccination soon. Good luck with the quiz

I got married 2 years ago and it just seemed that there was no excitement in my sex life. My dysfunction to perform to the best of my abilities in bed made it harder for my wife and me to have a good time during sex. And i was having the feelings that she may decide to get a divorce one day. I knew something had to be done in order to improve my sex life and to save my marriage because my marriage was already falling apart, so when i was on my Facebook page i came across a story of how Dr Aziba helped him enlarged his penis to 8ins better.so i Immediately copied the Email address of the Dr and explained to him my problem, he gave me some simply instruction which i must follow and i did easily and my friends Today, i am the happiest man on Earth, All Thanks to Dr Aziba for saving my marriage and making me a real man today. I asked him about some popular diseases like HERPES,HIV AIDS,HEPATITES,DIABETIS, CANCERS, WART, HPV etc.. which are affecting most people he said there is no disease without a cure, he has it all...You can as well reach the Dr below for help on your problem, for he has the solution to all...

  3. My mother, 86, has her appointment for her jab on Sunday somewhere around 4 (she told me but for the life of me I can't remember). My sister will be taking her because the vaccination centre is in Banbury where my mother lives in a village. She is lucky that her doctor's surgery is literally across the road, but I guess the vaccine needs to be stored colder than most surgeries can manage. It will be a relief for my sisters and I when she has it. Hopefully Trevor will get his soon.

Now I just need to be able to get one myself so I can reschedule my trip to England that was planned for last May. It seems that the current administration criticised the incoming administration for planning on using all the vaccine available whilst keeping quiet about the fact that they had already done it. I don't think I will be able to get vaccinated until late April.

Hope the pub quiz is fun!

  4. It's always a nice to have a day to lounge about. Even nicer is to get fresh flowers on a day like that.

Sorry you've been a tad under the weather but you've spent the day doing just what you should do - not much beyond being warm and fed!
Love the lilies and it was so kind of someone to leave them for you.
I hope dear Trevor gets his jab soon and you're kind to offer him a lift when the time comes.
Have fun with the zoom quiz! Yes, you're upper torso needs to look spiffy just in cases.

    Hugs!

  13. Sorry, I missed your post yesterday. I'm so glad you've had your vaccination. All care workers should be first in line as they've been putting their lives at risk to help others, for almost a year now. Enjoy the zoom quiz. xx

  14. Had my first vaccine on Wednesday morning. Yesterday was a touch ragged. Feverish, headache, arm ridiculously painful. I was off to bed at the unheard of hour of 8:00 pm with just some soup for supper. Today I feel completely normal again.

I got my jab a little over a week ago and my main reaction was just a sore shoulder. Maybe a little fatigue, no flu-like symptoms. I got the Moderna.

  18. Look at those faces! I'm glad you got the jab and I'm sure you'll be feeling better in no time. I love how people leave you little anonymous gifts. People don't do that in London -- and if they did, they'd probably be stolen!

  28. Sorry you are under the weather with the jab and hope you feel better soon. We were wondering if you get two jabs weeks apart do you have to have the same brand of jab?? or are they interchangeable? And would the side effects be the same??
