  3. Beautiful, but actually not Norwegian but Sami (or Lapp). The Sami is an ethnic group living in the north of Norway, Sweden and Finland.

Yes I did John.Off on a slight tangent I know but my reiki healer said he was a shamen-apparently it came to him in a dream. Also a police woman dealt with "anti social"issues I was having with a neighbour-"we will try native Indian techniques" she said( she had spied my book collection)sadly the neigbour was having "none of

  9. That is gobsmacking beautiful. So... I know this is her translation... is it a common folk tune? As in public domain? Or did she write it... as in, she owns the copyright to the song? Curious.

  10. Mari Boine's parents were both Sami, now a recognized minority in Norway as are the Roma (gypsies), Jews, and Forest Finns. My great-grandfather belonged to that last group. They all have had to deal with discrimination.

baby boomers are going to get abused and treated like garbage in the retirement homes. Maybe you boomers shouldn't have been so selfish and arrogant and greedy. Literally everyone hates baby boomers now. Enjoy those retirement homes, and good luck, boomers!
