Fairy Lights

One and a half days off before 4 more nights
I bought  some battery run Christmas Lights from Lidl today and they cheerfully illuminate the hearth and art wall this evening
I don’t do Christmas decorations now , but some bulldog and scotch egg baubles ( a kind gift from Kim F) add to the”look”

Weaver has emailed and is safe and well and is writing her Christmas Cards
Happy days

  10. What a clever way to do Christmas decor! Not nearly the fiddle-faddle of cutesy stuff that’s hard to dust!

I’m relieved to hear that Weaver is on the mend. That’s good news indeed. Thanks for following up with that.

Lovely fairy lights and the cheerful glow they bring to the cottage must be so pleasing. Hope you get the wee quilt out that I sent to you. It could hang on a wall, prop on a ledge, or be used as a mug rug and would be a small nod to the Christmas season.

I was happy to see Weave had even posted on her blog today! When I commented, I was #94 so she must be well chuffed to have been welcomed home by so many friends.

    Hugs!

  27. Unfortunately there is a bit of untidyness in my abode but the year round fairy lights in the evening make it appear lovely.By the backdoor I have a bucket of illuminated battery Christmas trees that irritatingly seem to have broken this week. Also my thatch grabbed the colour changing globe, chewed it and scarpered x

  29. Let's kick off the Christmas season with lights. A good cheery beginning. I, too, am on a roll with lights. My outdoor Korean Fur tree is just the right size for a few strings of lights. It's not too early for lights. Especially if it brightens the day. Sounds like Weave is good to go! We will simply all extend Christmas. Why not?

Is it safe to put those lights on top of your heating vent? Those things are completely foreign to me as a Queenslander but I always thought heat come out of the top of them??
