I’ve had a bath and everything

My internet never really made it back so the quiz is off, for now....
I’ve had a bath and everything!
I see the Christmas tv adverts have started most of them on a “ let’s soldier on “ theme

  13. Glad your world is smelling good, THAT you can do something about - the B3@*@internet is beyond your control. There's so much that gets me upset these days - more so than before, I think I'm living with a shortened fuse! The American election has had me on edge for the last couple of days - it affects the world when America won't do its bit on climate change, or the WHO, or so many other things. I'm on edge. Hope today is a good day for you - you're nearly back to work aren't you? That will be welcome contact. Look forward to the Christmas Quizz

  14. These days, the internet is critical to communication and connection. Really, it should be given a high priority. Oh well, just another disappointment to be taken in stride. Like the video says: The show must go on. Enjoy your night out tomorrow.

What a bother about the internet connection isn't what it needs to be for you to host the quiz. Good thing we all hang around through thick and thin, good and less than good, fun and not so fun, bobble hats, magic walls, pottery, painting, horses, dogs, one cat, and for you, John!
Ta for posting that beautiful video, too.

    Hugs!

  18. Gather you've been quarantined so glad you're freed now. Sorry you lost Internet connection and plans there.

I resent all coml advt and promotion of Christmas before Thanksgiving and now they've moved it up to Halloween. That's not to say people shouldn't buy gifts as I often did throughout the year. My attitude is based on what I recall feeling as a child -- waiting for Christmas once the ads started with talk of Santa Claus it took forever and ever for the day to actually come. I think it must feel like an eternity for little ones now and I think the adults should consider that.

  19. The Christmas ads are the only ones I ever watch, that particular one is beautiful, it really gets to me. She's a beautiful girl and a magnificent dancer.

  20. Why do you have a picture of Steps in your sidebar? (second picture down) Stardom has clearly aged them. "H" back left looks especially rough.

  21. Oh, Lord. Christmas. I can't even think about it.
