Janet treated me to a new Ceanothus bush this afternoon
She knew just how fond I was of my ceanothus tree which was blown down a few winter's ago
It's a bright blue when in flower and will provide a colourful backdrop in the garden next to Bluebell
I planted it at teatime
Nothing much has happened today
But it's been peaceful and comfortable and nice
I made a vlog a few minutes ago

What a lovely treat to walk up the lane with you and Mary to visit the ever-lengthening snake with it's creative and varied art work! Ta!

Very nice on the video - first time I've heard your speaking voice. I've just got new headphones - always use closed caption so I don't wake up my husband or stir up the furry felines. You have a very nice voice - could listen to you for hours. Perhaps you should start vlogging some of your stories while showing the countryside of your sweet garden in the background. Ranee (MN) USA

Children leave painted rocks with positive messages around our little town. It's a wonderful way for children to learn to care for others. Good for adults too. Thank you for sharing the walk John!
