Therapy

The girls have spent most of the day watching various items of clothes, old duvet sets, bald towels, a plethora of holed underpants , three bin bags of crap, one small side table and wooden duck fly past the living room window onto the lawn.
By hour number three, they didn't bother raising a head, even when I got overly excited and bunged  out an old standard lamp which crashed onto the concrete path by mistake.
It's been a totally therapeutic day
It really has!
I really feel that I have turned an important corner in my life today
I shall discuss this more in detail at some stage
But that's not for today
Hey ho!!

  10. "Hello? Is that Flintshire Mental Health Services? My name's Huw Edwards from Trelawnyd. There's a fellow who lives near our church. I think he has gone stark raving mad. He's chucking all of his belongings out of the window as I speak! And he's singing that song that the dwarfs sing in Snow White! Can't you send some men round in a white van? He needs carting off somewhere!"

  15. I'm forever throwing stuff out, my parents kept everything that still had some use. However if I can almost see through the center of a blanket or towel, out with it!

  17. Every so often I do that with with my pants and socks. I chuck the whole lot and start again. It is amazingly therapeutic, and surprisingly cheap. About a dozen of each does the job!

And I thought quilting was cheaper than therapy. Perhaps I need to remove a window screen and start throwing things out? Maybe not as I'd have to clean up whatever landed.

    More power to you!

    Hugs!

But... just not able to make myself do that yet... I am still attached to some of that crap, I guess! Well done you!

When you were upstairs throwing stuff through the window who was downstairs watching the dogs reactions?
It's not always necessary to elaborate with fanciful adornments to your post. Those of us with some intelligence question the reality and it spoils the post.
