And.........R e l a x !

My sister Janet called up when I was sleeping this morning and more or less finished the front garden.
It looks a picture with neat, weed free soil waiting to be filled with more herbaceous daisies and snapdragons .
I'm very pleased
I'm also pleased that one of the support workers cut my hair after work this morning.
I feel clean and tidy and now 8 lbs lighter than I did last week.
It was weigh in day today
I finished Hattie's shopping and dropped it around , completed my own and cleaned the cottage.
I bought three cheerful bunches of flowers for the kitchen table  living room and kitchen window ledges
And as the thunder echoes away from the hills in the West, I ve watered the pots
Poured myself a large gin and slimline
And have sat under the front door honeysuckle as Dotty sucks at my feet

    2. Even rejected by your 'closet' friends. That doesn't inspire confidence.

  13. A good day John. My day consisted of a root canal and new crown installed. The fresh cheeked and newly minted dentist offered pain killers...I told him, no need, I've got Gin. X

A bunch of pretty flowers used to be my treat, but I haven't had any since Lockdown began. When I can go out again, that will be my first purchase.

Lovely flowers, a fresh haircut, groceries delivered to Hattie and to your kitchen, a clean cottage and hurray for energetic Janet who set your front garden to rights! All topped off with a relaxing G&T and Dorothy.

    Enjoy!

    Hugs!

  18. Fresh flowers and a refreshed front garden - sounds like heaven to me. We are suddenly plunged into winter over here - cold and driving rain. The poor Azalea is about the last bit of colour in our garden, the herb garden is struggling and the silver beet definitely past its best. Not an inspiring sight - I will follow your lead and buy some flowers.
