We chatted about nothing for a little while and the mundane nature of the conversation was a pleasure enough after yesterday evening's passing sadness.
This evening the choir gets together via Zoom which will be an adventure in itself and moments ago Mrs Trellis left two Breakaway chocolate bars on the kitchen wall, both wrapped in kitchen paper.
Written in felt pen on the wrapping was one simple word " Trellis"
She's a legend in her her own lifetime
This morning I start painting the living room ceiling ivory.

John, thank you for the lovely video. Good Lord, where you live is idyllic! Love the stone walls all over, and your dogs are just precious. Waiting and hoping for warmer weather (with no drama - here in Illinois changes in seasons tend to bring it!) not sure we could take it. Sheltering in place and doing some things around the house that needed the time - which we have now. Sending love to everyone!

ReplyDeleteGlorious day here on the south coast too (pity about the shivery nights, though) and my lock-down necessary visit to Morrisons this morning much better than I expected, with most shelves fairly full. I expect the stockpilers have found they've got nowhere left to put any more food. Let's hope that it indicates a return to some level of sanity.

It was indeed a glorious day and your beautiful fur babies out with Dad enjoying the sun. Such promise ... in such dark times. I hope your decorating is a success; painting ceilings is what I will be doing over the coming week. Plus walls, windows etc just to get a bedroom ready should we have to isolate from each other! Keep your head down one and all. Be safe, stay home.

ReplyDeleteIvory! What a wonderful color for the ceiling. I'm so freaking tired of white ceilings. My dining room ceiling is rose ivory. You have to look deep to see the touch of pink, but it's there.
