There were five other women at pottery class tonight, not including my sisters.
They were chattering wildly with the camp-as-Christmas stand in teacher as Janet, Ann and I just got into things.
I didn't realise just how therapeutic clay play actually is.
Tonight I decided to make my own tribute to Antony Gormley field of figures instillation
It's called " united"
they look like owls; VERY cute. for me, "I didn't realise just how therapeutic knitting actually is." our crafts are meant to relax us.
ReplyDeleteI like the figures.
ReplyDeleteThanks chuck x
DeleteMe too.
ReplyDeleteHa ha, good work! Now make a few thousand more, LOL!
ReplyDeleteI think I've planned for 6 more
DeleteOwls or aliens ... LOL You have created a tribe of small grays ... oh ... perhaps distant cousins!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to clump them in the kitchen window
DeleteA group of things that care for each other
Wow they are so very cute. I find it odd that even though the eyes are just poked holes they appear, to me, to be searching. Love them.

Cute little guys! They will look great on a window! I thought bowling would be calming, after a few gutter balls I was ready to pop my top!
ReplyDeleteHow's the dating going?
DeleteSomebody else called it 'Things are Looking Up'.
ReplyDeleteWhat would you call it ???
DeleteUnited? No wonder they all look like Wayne Rooney.
ReplyDeleteDreadful.......no lines of hair follicles in view
DeleteLove the little one :)
ReplyDeleteJan ..sister ! X
DeleteThey are so sweet John-little cutie pie creatures born by you to be loved x
ReplyDeleteThey remind me of a group of meerkats!!
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how much personality these little guys have. I love how they are all a little different and how two on the front row are just slightly leaning in to one another.
ReplyDeleteI like these very, very much, and your sturdy little horse too.
ReplyDeleteI love those figures. You have such talent with clay. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteDo you boomers realize how universally hated you are? There is not one single demographic that does not hate you- white people, black people, asians, mexicans, indians, chinese, millennials, GenX, GenZ. Something tells me that you boomers are not going to have a very comfortable or easy retirement, especially once you end up in the retirement homes.
ReplyDeleteCan you baby boomers hurry up and fucking drop dead? Enjoy your retirement homes cause we younger people will not take care of you even if we wanted to, due to the shitty economy you boomers created. Do you boomers realize that the younger generation is simply waiting for you to fucking drop dead?
You are all going to end up in retirement homes and we all know that the elderly gets treated pretty badly in retirement homes. Well, that's what you get for ruining your own children's lives. Even if your children WANTED to take care of you, they couldn't, due to you boomers destroying the economy. So I hope you enjoy the retirement homes, boomer scum!
