but I'm still not to be had for the price of a cocktail,

Dirty day

The interbet is down and the chimney is still smoking
I never believed that i will be happy again after much frustration. I have been rejected by my husband after Six(6) years of marriage just because he met another woman and he left me and the kids to suffer. One day when i was reading through the web i stumbled at a post on how chief dr lucky the great spell caster has helped people to restore broken marriages and relationships and curing of diseases. I emailed him immediately to help my situation via: chiefdrlucky@gmail.com He told me not to worry that my husband will return to me begging and shedding tears of forgiveness. I am so happy that my husband actually returned to me in 48 hours after i obeyed the words and instructions of chief dr lucky. contact him today in any of your problems for a lasting solution via: chiefdrlucky@gmail.com or call/whats app +2348132777335
You've got it John-the knack and good looks.I had problems with a woodburner which a chimney sweep said he'd swept but soon after big, smelly lumps of popcorn type stuff kept falling down-I googled it and diagnosed creosote and contacted another sweep-it was,and could have caused a chimney fire.I had it swept again-3 sweeps in as many months. The wood I don't think was seasoned x
What a great video and I love your bravery in learning to throw pots. It takes lots of practice to get everything symmetrical and the same thickness, to say nothing of the overall shape. Every lovely pot, pitcher, plate, or mug you've ever seen was made by someone who was once a beginner.
Grownups should enjoy getting dirty as much as kids do!
Wishing you well on that chimney. Neither you nor the others in the family need to breathe in dusty/dirty air.
Congrats! You're no longer a pottery virgin!

Deletehmm, not sure about the shaved haircut. what is it about everybody has to be the same these days. no sense of individuality.
ReplyDeleteIt looks worse than it is from the side
DeleteIs that a veiled insult?
DeleteIs that you in the vid? You look good! Young! I love the haircut. How fun to learn pottery. Was the Little Horse's glaze finished yet>
ReplyDeleteCall a pro for the chimney, or install a gas grate thing? The soot will ruin your redecorating efforts pretty fast.
lizzy
A decent start! Hope you enjoy persevering
ReplyDeleteYay on the first pot! Boo on the smoky fireplace :) And I like the hair, too, for what it's worth!
ReplyDeleteEars lowered, tits hoisted. Now just your wobbly pot to perfect.
ReplyDeletewheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! now if you could only re-enact the pottery scene from "ghost" with patrick swazye...(swoon)
ReplyDeletehang in there john and keep it up and i'm sure your patrick swayze will arrive.
ReplyDeleteYou will have to get one of The Affable Despot's girls to go up your chimney with a brush. Pay her with a homemade "Thank you" card or a bun.

You need a filthy day.
ReplyDeleteAmen
DeleteI remember when I took pottery how surprised I was at how much strength it takes to center and mold the clay on the wheel. But it IS fun!
