Better than puking during a performance! When I was growing up we had a village choir of all ages. The choirmaster had just finished saying "really open your mouths and sing out!" when there was a splat all over the choirloft floor from a young girl - it was awful and hilarious all at the same time.
It's not very funny when it's your own illness, though - I hope you feel better soon.
Oh dear! When will it end? (Not soon enough). I don't suppose you even had the consolation of puking 'on pitch'? Trust you can get over it prontissimo.
I'm sorry to hear that you missed performing! From being in a community symphony orchestra for a while, I know the joy of performing with a group, a group with whom you've been practicing for months.
Enjoyed that! Hope you feel better soon x
