The Estate Agent photographer turned up at 4pm
It will be the only sunny day this week he explained, sunshine necessary to show off the cottage views and garden to their best advantage
I had spent the previous 6 hours gardening!
When he was doing his thing inside the cottage, Me and Mary waited on the garden wall.
After ten minutes he sounded somewhat exasperated as he poked his head through the bathroom window
" Can you remove this bulldog!?" he called. "She's photo bombing every one of my photos!!!"
Way to go Winnie! You're a beautiful girl and deserve to have your picture taken. π
ReplyDeletehilarious ..
ReplyDeleteWinnie is such a lovable dog, her personality and quirks make me smile. I hope she does get in a few shots.
ReplyDeleteGood for Winnie!
ReplyDeleteBest listen to him or someone will think she comes with the cottage!
ReplyDeleteIndeed - and thanks for the laugh.
DeleteWinnie's USP (unique selling point) could fire either way. Upping or lowering the price depending where you stand (best not) on bulldogs.

Aww, Winnie, how she loves attention :)
ReplyDeleteBless her.

"But Mr DeMille, she's ready for her closeup!"
ReplyDeleteLmaoooo
ReplyDeleteShe’s a diva all right!
Omg I can see her photobombing him into a rage!

Dogs.
XoXo
Would love to see those pics!
ReplyDeleteGood for you Winnie! You know John, she really needs her very own photo shoot. Who knows, she may end up on the cover of Dogs Life or Bulldog Today! Why she might even be able to support you with a modeling career - you would just have to be her agent.
ReplyDeleteI would buy the cottage if Winnie came with it!
ReplyDeleteπ
Me too
DeleteAn advantage,surely!
ReplyDeleteLove it! Thanks for making me laugh out loud today
ReplyDeleteKJ
That's hilarious. A lot of people would like to know what a particular room would look like with a bulldog, though!
ReplyDeletewinnie figures that seeing her in the pics will be quite a draw. just don't include her in the sale.
ReplyDeleteYay Winnie.
ReplyDeleteShe knows that any photo is improved with a bulldog.
I'll bet that's just why you left Winnie inside with him!
ReplyDeleteI thought you said, '...me and Mary wailed on the garden wall.'
ReplyDeleteAtta girl, Winnie!
ReplyDeleteBulldogs are notoriously hard to remove, because they are so cute!
ReplyDeleteThe way you (don't) handle Winnie makes me think you'd have made an ideal father to a daughter. She certainly appears to be given a lot of freedom and a long leash before called to order - if ever.
ReplyDeleteU
Wish I could buy the cottage so that you (and family) could stay...
ReplyDeletePhoto caption: "Winnie and John look to the future." And as for that old myth of owners and pets growing to resemble each other. . ?
ReplyDeleteHa haa Winnie rules.
ReplyDeleteShe might be able to help you sell the house!
ReplyDeleteProspective buyers wearing overalls will get more than they bargained for!
ReplyDeleteEither Winnie wants you all to stay and feels she can help with that if she messes with the photos or she feels the photos would be so much better with her in them. Either way I love her style! xx
ReplyDeleteI think that featuring Winnie in all the photos would be an advantage for a quick sale. She is spectacularly beautiful!
ReplyDeleteMaybe she doesn't want to leave so is hoping to be part of the listing? X
ReplyDeleteOf Course !
ReplyDeleteparsnip x
I’d love it if all of the photographs in the blurb about your cottage had Winnie photobombing them all ! I think it could become a trend in the world of house selling. XXXX
ReplyDelete"This bulldog"? Winnie has a name you estate agent bounder! Bare teeth and attack!
ReplyDeleteI wish Winnie would photobomb more!
ReplyDeleteWell my lands...if Winnie can't sell the cottage...…..
ReplyDeleteWhat's funny is that I see some estate agents here are including pictures of the listings with the 'family dog'. Maybe a pooch snap would be good?
ReplyDeleteWhat a hoot! I can see Miss Winnie posing as she does for many of your photos and - surely - what this photographer wants her to do, too. :) She aims to please.
ReplyDeleteTa for the laugh!
Hugs!
What would we do without the word "photobomb" - it so perfectly describes that particular behavior! I think Winnie would be a great addition to the photos, though :)
ReplyDeleteI suppose it is in the dog's job description to do so.
ReplyDeleteI hope he's left her in at least one of the pictures π
ReplyDeleteIt's always possible that Winnie's making the point that she does NOT want you to sell. She's not just a pretty face, you know!
ReplyDeleteHahaha good on you Winnie.
ReplyDeleteDid he have a suit on? Maybe Winnie is upping her game from overalls to suits! x
ReplyDeleteActually made me laugh out loud. Good girl Winnie. x
ReplyDeleteI can't believe the photographer didn't appreciate Winnie's value in those photos!
ReplyDeleteShe's so lovely, in a wrinkled sort of way.
ReplyDeleteHe should keep her in the pictures. Her mug will be a great selling point. Who could resist that face.
ReplyDeleteI think Winnie would be a good selling point!
ReplyDeleteWhat a picture John, it speaks volumes. Heartbreak and hope rolled into one snap.
ReplyDeleteAww bless Winnie shes a sweetheart, hope you find somewhere nice to move too, such a shame you have to leave your lovely cottage and village.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely photo of you both I think that with Winnie in the photos it would help sell your home at least people would linger longer to look at the photos and be able to imagine their dogs living there makes for a welcoming home.
