    7. Rug land. It looks like a dog house. And baskets. I am surprised it wasn't suggested that you declutter for the photos. Are you using a different agent?

    8. So bright! He fiddled with photoshop, me thinks . I'd have to wear sunglasses in such a bright house

  12. Don't hate me for relating to you what, once upon a time, was dished out to me: Apparently beams across the ceiling are harbingers of bad luck - according to Feng Shui. Which is why one of my brothers-in-law kept taking the piss because walking around his main mansion seemed to me like disaster waiting to happen. So I'd stoop underneath those bolders - no doubt expecting, that any moment now, I'd either bang my head on one or worse. He didn't like it. Neither did I.

    Good luck.

    2. Tell me about it. You don't even know the half of it. Once upon a time my front door wasn't the right colour; it faced the wrong direction; the house looked out at what can loosely be described as a T-junction. Happy times. No bull. Then I moved to a house right next to a cemetery. Even more happy times. But then I like cemeteries. One of the reasons I'd scoop up your cottage in a jiffy. The Feng Shui book, you will be happy to hear, has long since been discarded.

  14. It does look charming - but also more than a little unreal. Too stylised a presentation for me?
I hope it all goes well (and smoothly) for you.

  15. I would be terribly hurt, as though I were already outside looking in. It's your home until it isn't, right? Courage, dear heart!! The roses on the kitchen windowsill are still their beautiful pink. And all will be well - bye and bye.

  19. He must have had a bloody good flash on his camera to get your lovely cosy cottage looking THAT bright. And where exactly was he standing to get your kitchen looking so big?

He was right to come yesterday while the sun was shining through, it looks lovely outside 🙂

  20. I can only imagine that this beautiful cottage will be grabbed up before you go to bed tomorrow night!

  22. Looks beautiful!!!! If your quaint home was here, it would be sold in one day tootes. No joke. When it sells, you and the brood come live with me, we will be to aging single queens living together. The gay Grey Gardens version!!!!!!!

  25. It is amazing what they can do with apps and photoshop...I am sure it is lovely, but the photos look like a painting. I was quite attracted to the quilts of course. Hoping for the best for you and the pets. Take care.

I echo the word "charming", made all the more so by the lovely art on the walls, the flowers inside and out, the amazing kitchen, and the beautiful quilts. As a quilter myself, it just cannot get any better.

Hope you get a sky high price so you're well set to purchase your next home, unless you and the gang take Mistress up on that offer, of course.

    Hugs!

I meant to say that someone who loves to cook will be sold on your lovely kitchen.

Oh, and I hope sweet George makes a quick and full recovery.

      More hugs!

  36. Your home is such a quintessential, lovely Welsh cottage! I just love it - it has so many beautiful features. And I love your quilts! I have the same Grandmother clock that you have in a bedroom. I really enjoyed your photos, hope the selling journey goes easily for you.

  37. It looks gorgeous, you certainly have the knack of making a house a home. But it doesn't look real.

  38. The cottage is so charming. I thought they'd make you declutter and hide all those throws. You have beautiful quilts and great taste in wallpaper. Is that really an American flag? Story?

We have summoned 2 agents to come and appraise our house. First one due this morning but phoned to postpone the appraisal as "it's raining and there's an outside element". I think her high heels are going to get a shock when they encounter the detritus from next door's dairy herd!!
