  1. I hope they met your expectations. What's their rating from the Scotch Egg Appreciation Society?

  2. What the heck is a LUXURY Scotch egg?!? Coated in gold leaf instead of bread crumbs? Complements of the goose that laid the golden eggs?

  3. Seeing how the other half lives? The Queen eats those, you know.

  4. Would love to visit Borough Market! Did you see Tom Parker Bowles? :)

  5. Moving with the upper classes now I see - did you enquire what exactly made them luxury? Hope you thoroughly enjoyed both of them (and ate a good meal later). Oh and hope you were suitably dressed for the company (none of your explicit T shirts).

  7. Lady Magnon recently paid about the same for a Pork Pie (fortnum's). Daylight robbery; but delicious.

  9. You do know that they are very easy to make and, if you use turkey sausage, probably not that bad for you?

    1. I tried, I sent John a turkey version which was baked instead of fried. If he ever made it, he didn't like it, as he thanked me for the recipe and then didn't comment on the result! Glad he liked these 9 pd ones as he deserves a treat.

  10. Ok, confession here ~ I had no idea what a scotch egg is. I had to Google it...having done that, yeah, I think I could jump on board! Now, if only they could add some green chile from Hatch to it....yum.

  11. I made some keto style and baked for the family, my welsh hubs gobbled them, the boy likes them and I had more fun making them than eating them. Used my own ducks eggs.
