i think you are finding your true self again. maybe you lost it with the prof chasing something you thought you needed. you are starting to seem happier?
We once had some Geese that had long trailing (about 6 ft) twisted feathers. The man we'd bought them from said it was a throwback to some he'd had many years previously. They were quite a sight!
Good memories will always stay with you. They will be filed and looked at occasionally. Your new life will have new memories. And these have already begun. Chin up. X
I believe that you will rear some more one day. Memories stay with us they become part of who we are there are bound to be more good ones in your future John that you can tuck away to look back on in your old age.
John, because you are you, your memory bank will never be empty as you make more lovely ones each day...and gently look back on old ones like polishing a stone in your pocket....when can you spare sometime for a hug and maybe a game of chess? Libs x
John on the social readjustment rating scale divorce is second only to death of a spouse.... death of a spouse is 100...divorce is 73. Time will work it's magic... I know this I went through my loss of my husband at 50. By the way just found this lovely video last week looking for the soundtrack of The Last Of The Mohicans. I have played it many times. Nidia
No matter where you call home, at the end of the day you are still the same gorgeous wonderful, caring, slightly off centre human that we’ve all come to know and love, if you have to move your new home will be filled with all the same warm and loving feelings. Jo
A bridge and much water passing.

ReplyDeleteAll I am doing is saying goodbye to old memories
ReplyDeleteSurely our memories are the one thing we take with us wherever we go x
DeleteI was going to say this. We never say goodbye to memories, but use them to build a richer tapestry to look back on.
DeleteWell we file them away and move on to new pastures.
DeleteNot all memories are worth keeping. Some linger although they're not welcome.
DeleteThey are so sweet! So many animal babies are.
ReplyDeleteif we lived closer I'd drop a goose off for you:)

ReplyDeleteSo adorable. I have watched these clips before but I still had to watch them twice. You are a natural animal person.
ReplyDeleteNo goose escorts?
ReplyDeleteThey will all give you a goosing.
ReplyDeleteOmg too cute!
ReplyDeleteYou surely are gonna do a ‘where are they now’ video?
Pretty please?
XoXo
I remember how cute they were and how I wanted some but then I thought better of it.
ReplyDeleteCheers
Ok, sweetheart, you’re not saying good-bye to those memories. You are taking them with you wherever life leads!
ReplyDeleteYou have so many of us crossing our fingers and toes in hopes that you can and will stay in your cottage.
ReplyDeletePositive thoughts everyone.
Good memories to keep are a blessing.

ReplyDeleteLook at it as making new memories now to gradually replace these older ones and let them fade away into infinity.

ReplyDeleteWell I remember the affection of our goslings, so sweet! We lost one of the girls this past winter, so now there are two, a gander and his one girl...
