Frank

It's not midday yet
But
I've made a will!
Endured fat club
Had my haircut
And had a row with a miserable guy called Frank for leaving his
Labrador in a over heated car for too long.
Frank's wife kept banging on with
" Frank walk away , he's a nutter"
I told her that she was an arse hole too

    2. Oh dear, that's just wrong. I briefly dated someone with a love of pastel Pringle golf jumpers. He also bought me chips and ate the lot
himself! It wasn't meant to be x

Good for you. What a moron; so much publicity about pets enclosed in cars they should know better.

  17. There was an experiment recently (America? Australia?) where a medic shut themselves into a hot car to see how long she could last. Not very long as it turned out. Why won't people learn? We are supposed to be a natiion of pet lovers!

  19. Should have told them you would call the police if they left the dog in the car. Bloody arse holes. I hate people like that

  20. You should be grateful that you're a man and a formidable one at that- if I, an old woman, let people know exactly what I think of them in language that I really would like to use, I'd probably get beat up at the very least.
    But you are inspiring.

  21. Did you tell Frank that not only was he an irresponsible pet owner but he also had crap taste in jumpers ?

  22. Love the cartoon, I can't stop laughing. clearly the couple with the dog in the car needed telling, there's no way to avoid that - well done for standing up to them.

  23. Good for you, Frank and his f*cking barmy wife need to learn some animal care. I hate people like that. An inch of window space each side do not a cool environment make, I'd like to see him sat there with his 1980's golf jumper on!!

I hope you've left all your millions to your furry babies :-)

  26. Sounds like this day holds lots of excitement - and I'm with everyone else, good for you for speaking up. Frank and his wife are a pair of arseholes, indeed.

  27. Where I'm from, you can be criminally charged for leaving your dog in a locked vehicle. (It gets much hotter there, but it's a crime anywhere, as far as I'm concerned!)

    1. Same here (Canada). A quick call to 911(emergency services) will have them break the car windows and get the animal out. Thanks for trying, John!

    2. I think he was a caring owner but for some reason my offer of a shady parking space got his dander up

    3. I was going to say the same as LEfting. The owners would also be charged.

For shame that anyone would leave any living thing in a closed car! Those folks deserved a good tongue lashing.

Did you need an afternoon nap or did you carry on with verve?

    Hugs!

  31. It sounds like a good day. You took care of business, got spiffed up and possibly saved a life. Hopefully, the a-hole will think the next time he has his dog in car.

  34. Stealing the cartoon! :) People like that do not deserve to have a dog. Sadly, people not only leave their pets in hot cars some leave their children too!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Frank should have left his wife in the car instead of the labrador.

  36. The few times I've spoken up to strangers about poor conditions for their animals, it was not well received either. So now I sit and wait for an owner to come back to the vehicle, in case they don't and I have to call emergency services. All the time with a pounding heart and, I'm sure, blood pressure through the roof. Good for you for speaking up; I wish I could take a few lessons from you in swearing for when I need it!
