Out
On nights and theres no power in the entire village. 20 or so linesmen in their hardhats are back and Winnie and I have just gone to watch them work in the snow. Im off to bed now will blog later when power returns
I hope you are not facing the cold that many of us are enduring in the states. A friend of mine lives in Minnesota and temperatures are 50 below zero and her power has been going off and on. Today it is 1 degrees F outside here and thankfully everything is working in the house and I pray that continues.
Three things I value. A radio with a wind up handle, a flashlight that works by pulling a wire in the handle, and a wood burner. I can live without TV.
I love what the snow does to us.
ReplyDeleteYikes! And we've also had no power in parts of the neighbourhood today, but because it's been boiling hot! A bit of weather synergy.
