So wonderful. I saw this on Twitter over the weekend. I loved it and it made my heart happy. But while many comments were so supportive and that was great to see, there was also much hate and vitriol. Ugh.
Ta for the smiles (mine) and the clear happiness that abounds. How marvelous. May we all twirl as we want to no matter what our age or if we're wearing a sparkling dress or jeans or pjs.
I saw this a few days ago on Facebook and thought it was brilliant. The thing I think I like best is the thought of the happy memories that he's creating for and with his son.
Magic. I'm all for boys and girls and their parents doing what they fancy. I taught my Son how to knit and my Dad taught me!! My Dad started when he was in the RAF x
What a great dad XXXX
ReplyDeleteGreat video! Strangely attractive indeed!
ReplyDeleteAwwww, matching father/daughter dresses!
ReplyDeleteI like it more because that's his son
DeleteVery cool! I loved this video! xo
ReplyDeleteWonderful video!
ReplyDeleteMen who are secure in their masculinity are sexy as hell. The fact that he does this with his son gives him extra points. 😎
ReplyDeleteI’m all for a DIlF.
XoXo
Lol
DeleteI LOVE that he is having as much fun as his boy.

ReplyDeleteHe's a comic, so I think he also had his own agenda , but it's alovely video nevertheless
DeleteI know a daddy like this. And every year on Father's Day I tell him, "God. I wish I'd had a father like you."
ReplyDeleteGood for you, dad! Where can you get a Frozen dress that big? Loved it when they tried to choreograph with each other!
ReplyDeleteAhh, that makes me so happy!
ReplyDeleteThat is one of the most wonderful things I have ever seen! What a great dad. I want to be his friend.
ReplyDeleteThe joy in this little video lifted me up too.
ReplyDeleteThis makes me so very happy!!

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful video of father and son having a fun time will put it in my keeper file so I can watch it when I need a lift.
ReplyDeleteMAH-vlus!
ReplyDeletethat is so sweet - love the way the son ticks him off for his miss-timed arm flings :D
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderfully liberating video. If only others were as relaxed about subverting gender roles.
ReplyDeleteIt is only a father and son doing a bit of dancing. "Subverting gender roles" sounds like a rather overkill use of vocabulary for the scene at hand.
DeleteRachel, I can only imagine the reaction from my neighbours if they saw me dancing around the living room in a dress!
DeleteI wonder what you were looking for when you found that.
ReplyDeleteOk, I will answer that, Men with beards in dresses. Am I wrong?
DeleteI live this dad. Great gown, too.
ReplyDeleteLovely video. Made me smile.
ReplyDeleteThat was so sweet. Now, there's a man comfortable in his own skin (and a sparkly frock by the looks of it)!

ReplyDeleteTo quote Zorba the Greek, "you gotta dance Boss, you gotta dance!"
