ReplyDeleteYou sound great. Always nice to hear such singing at this time of year.
ReplyDeleteThose singers, different shapes, sizes, ages and no doubt hopes and fears coming together in song was incredibly moving.
ReplyDeleteHearing a choir sing brings a feeling of warmth and joy. Now I feel ready for the season.
ReplyDeleteYears ago a Welsh men’s choir come to our little town and performed. It was heavenly. We hosted two of the gentlemen overnight and they were delightful.
Wishing you and the furries a peaceful season that will fill your soul with hope for a wonderful future. 🎄❤️
That was fabulous! Well done! I found myself mesmerised by the choirmaster's hips. You looked enigmatic behind the antlers John. The basses really anchor the sound and you all sounded wonderful <3

ReplyDeleteEveryone sounded great, definitely lifted my spirits and made me smile. Thank you so much for sharing. Merry Christmas to you John and I hope the New Year brings you much peace and happiness.
ReplyDeleteWonderful! I know it is hard but I hope that you find joy during this special time of the year.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your lovely choir with us I totally enjoyed it and looks like a good time was had by all.
ReplyDeleteI agree that the bass section did quite well! My father was a small man (135 pounds at his highest weight) but he had a beautiful bass voice, not at all the voice you expected when he opened his mouth to sing. I didn't inherit a beautiful voice from either him or my mother. Although I didn't sing in a choir, I joined our community's symphony orchestra until rheumatoid arthritis made it too difficult to play my violin. What joy it is to work together for all those weeks and months and then to perform together, too. May you continue to find such satisfaction in a joy well done into the future.
ReplyDeleteLove and hugs to you too, John, and my fervent wishes that the coming year is a good one for you. You deserve it!
