How Mad Is That?

Arrived in London a way past midday
Met Nu for a long lunch at the very nice Granary Square Brasserie
Lovely food,
Two bloody Mary's
Lots of laughs ,
Lots of tears
I'm back on the train home now and it's 4.30
How mad is that........?
And how therapeutic ..........

  26. In my celestial opinion today is New Year's Day, being the day after our winter solstice, and so I wish you and your multitide of followers a Happy New Year while the sunshine returns; especially wishing yourself some calm, peacefulness and more pleasant times.

  31. I can not think of anything more salubrious - other than perhaps substituting the bloody mary for a good snort of scotch.

  36. John: very tired here for a variety of reasons, but I will find and send you the Christmas decoration/gift from San Francisco/Stanford in the near future. Cheers to you and Nu and Trendy Carol and the Boffin and all of your circle.

  37. So good you have your touchstone ini Nu. Mine is a good friend who lives nearby and like me, is a twin. There are many other things we have in common but I would be too identifiable if I listed them all.

Suffice to say that I consider myself very fortunate!
