Glass Thingies!
Time for some national and international adulation!
I'm full of cold after night shift so have to miss choir practice but things have been brightened up by my sister dropping off my homemade glass Christmas decs
I see a lot of crafting makes and you really are really good at this John!! I am not just saying that. The snowflakes are my personal favourite but they are all good. You should think about this!
It took my brain sometime to get my head round the bird and even now when I look at it I see a flying dog first, I like the mouse with a snake up its arse in the bottom one. I like them a lot. Great to make up stories around them and the antlers are good. xxx
Love them, I am with Rachel ... first thing I saw was a flying dog, but then it became clear! Snowflake one is also fab... I like the colours. Talented indeed!
Applause, applause! Well done, you! The glass ornaments are lovely and would make wonderful gifts to yourself or to others. I, too, especially like the snowflake one. Will you make more now that you know how talented you are at it?
Wow. I wish there were a place here that offered that service. It looks like it'd be so much fun to make (my sister, who has artistic talent, would smoke me, however) any time of the year. Good job!
I love the enthusiasm in your post title; it drew me right in. But indeed, your thingies are lovely. Bless your grudging holiday spirit, look how far you've come already, y'auld grinch!
You clever bugger you! It took me an age to spot the seagull, I saw a penguin leaning on a fox! Seriously, they're lovely, particularly the snowflakes! X
Big deal, looks like something a child would make and now suddenly you're a hero! Well actually I'm just joking, I really like them especially the snow flake one, I just wanted to get your attention hahaha!
They are so neat!!! You've done a fabulous job of it. Does it make you feel like doing more of them? You would always have a gift on hand when needed, besides being able to sell them. Seems it must have been a relaxing diversion from the usual. Thanks to some of the comments and your replies, I've started my day with laughter!!! It's no wonder I'm a Going Gently addict.
I would like to make some glass thingies, too! Your quirky glass creations look like they were fun to make. When I checked the link you posted above I saw in the studio's Dec 4th post a photo of your snowflake, and had a brief but pleasant thrill of recognition. It looks so much lovelier with the light shining through it in your own photo, though, John.
VERY!
