Lighten Your Heart

Well I don't know about you but after the earlier post I am in need of a lifting of the heart.
Have a look at this video, it will do the trick.
To red light funding of the movie The Greatest Showman ,the studio big wigs got together with the cast and crew to run through some of the libretto. The proposed star of the show , Hugh Jackman had been told he could not sing at the event due to recent cancer surgery on his nose but in this moment captured on film, he couldn't stop himself taking over from his understudy and the result is pure magic

  3. I so enjoyed that movie, and soundtrack. Not just because Hugh Jackman was in it.

  5. Love their excitement and the camaraderie among the cast. The chorus repeating "...home again" does gladden the heart, thank you, John.-Mary

  12. He was fabulous and is a great talent. I thought that I read that he had basal cell carcinoma. I have had a few of those (most common) and no one told me that I couldn’t sing. Of course, no one would want me to sing.

  18. This is the best film ever. I went to see it the first time (seen it a few times since!) feeling a bit down and out and came out of the cinema with a grin from ear to ear, came home and immediately ordered the soundtrack on Amazon! I play it really loud in the car and sing along and I always feel better for it!! One downside though - once the songs are in your head its really hard to get them out again!! Thanks for sharing, hope it helps you too. x

  21. Hewgie always gives me a tingle 'down there'. Since I'm too old to be his hubby (even if he was available) I'm going to ask him to be my surrogate son - and too bad for anyone who cries "Incest!"

  22. Hubby and I loved the movie, but my 8 year old granddaughter couldn't get enough of it. She saw it two days in a row. Wonderful message and songs throughout.

  23. Love, love, LOVE that man! I had come across that clip some weeks ago and sent it to my daughter, another huge fan. How wonderful to have the talent they all have, and what fun it would have been to be in that room! I have been fortunate enough to see Hugh on Broadway in three different plays, and it was always worth every cent :) What a lovely, sweet, and talented man...
