This morning I realised that since Saturday night ( when I went for a family meal ) I have not really mixed with anyreal people. Now I use the word ' real' carefully here-- of course I have talked to people on the phone, interacted with friends on messenger, replied to emails and posted blog comments, but sometimes we all need to feel that we physically part of the human race.
Oh, I forgot that yesterday a Welsh Government researcher called in to conduct an hour's interview. He wanted to know all about my lifestyle and tried really hard after getting off on the wrong foot after asking me what my wife's name was.
I found some of his questions interesting
Winnie found his cowboy boots very interesting
And the interview had to be stopped twice when Winnie lowered her toilet parts on the boots tips with a satisfying plop/ grunt.

The older Winnie gets, the more brazen she is !
ReplyDeleteShe's a slut
DeleteOh, Winnie, going full cowgirl on that poor interviewer's boots!
ReplyDeleteSwayed by a cowboy
DeleteShe might not be the only girl , swayed by a cowboy ... you know, somewhere in the world ~
DeleteSometimes I much prefer cyber people to the real thing; in fact most of the time.
ReplyDeleteA mix is nice
DeleteInteresting in what way?
ReplyDeleteWe delved into cultural needs
DeleteAh well. There are all sorts of social interactions. At the moment you are a bit more balanced to the cyber ones and the animal ones and that's okay unless you're miserable in which case it is not okay.
ReplyDeleteWinnie...
Balance is always good
DeleteWhat an odd coincidence. On my training run today I passed a pair of cowboy boots standing on top of a charity bin at the roadside. And then I read about your visitor. Contact. Perhaps they are here.
ReplyDeleteWhere the tips mucky?
DeleteHi John! After about maybe a year or two,of commenting n reading blogs..this is the first time Ive read someone say the word Mucky!!I must say this at least twice a day,lol..most of the time when looking at the microwave!xx
DeleteIt's a lovely word
DeleteMy husband would say Muck and Mire ...
DeleteGood old Winnie, getting her kicks wherever she can!
ReplyDeleteShe's an inspiration
DeleteLooks like Winnie was also missing some real, physical contact.
ReplyDeleteDoes doesn't now
DeleteMeet a friend for lunch, our resident shrink at https://sporeflections.wordpress.com/ reminds us that we need real human interaction.
ReplyDeleteThat doesn't seem like any reason to stop the interview! :)
ReplyDeleteYou're a trooper
DeleteBlog-pals are generally friendlier than in-the-flesh ones, I find - probably because they tend not to exhibit the same range of unpredictable moods with which one has to cope and respond. Hence they are indisputably 'safer'.
ReplyDeleteRaymondo just watched GHOST STORIES , hummmmm
DeleteThe film didn't deliver anything like as much as those compilation horror films of the 70s did where it was like being dealt a hand of cards, not knowing what might come up, But in this film I thought Paul Whitehouse was the best thing.
DeleteI have just lit the BBQ to cook my tea and eat on my own. I had the car serviced this morning and it felt like quite a sociable event.
ReplyDeleteI need to get out more
DeleteI am alone so much that I remind myself not to talk for an hour to a stranger at the supermarket when they say Hi How are you ?
ReplyDelete:)
I love my cats but they stink when it comes to conversation .. it's all about feed me.. pet me ...sigh~
LOL
ReplyDeleteI moved my daily walk to the morning, this morning. Needed to get away from the computer. It took me an hour longer than it should have done, my fault, I can't stop chattering to random strangers.
ReplyDeleteSudden withdrawal of human contact (as with me when my farmer died) leaves a hole which is difficult to fill but I am working at it. Dogs help.
ReplyDeleteI , sadly, know exactly what you mean Weaver .. dogs do help .. cats do and I miss having a dog too.
DeleteSo...what did he ask? Did you reply, No comment?
ReplyDeleteAnd---is it time for Mary to be neutered so in the future she doesn't display similar unattractive habits? You can't want to raise puppies if you move to the city, any city? Just curious...
I find it sad how more and more daily activities are accomplished without speaking to a live human. On one outing I went to the bank (drive through machine), put gas in the car (self serve at the pump) and bought some items at the store (self checkout) all without talking with another person. I find that sad on many levels not to mention the loss of jobs for people.
ReplyDeleteI just saw that your Sunday post is almost to 600 now!
DeleteJust off to check
DeleteSo Winnie can swing either way, tradesmen or cowboys?
ReplyDeleteOh there must be nights when she feels like being naughty and a cowboy might fit the bill LOL
DeleteSome days, I could use a Winnie.

ReplyDeleteYou could make a million by marketing "Winnie" - the all-natural canine boot polish. Buy two cans and get a free fanny flannel.
ReplyDeleteIs that why you are leaving the countryside. Any hints on where you plan to go?
ReplyDelete"... her toilet parts"? You mean she shat on his boots?

DeleteI was a tad surprised to read that you have ANY largely contact free days. Many of mine are, but I assumed yours were not. Learning all the time.
ReplyDeleteNow listen people ! I need just 7 comments on Sunday's " where are you" post to reach 600 comments! Come on peeps
ReplyDeleteWell ... Winnie certainly left her comment!!! LOL
ReplyDeleteWe all 'contact' differently I guess.
ReplyDeleteI knew I loved Winnie for a reason, my first cowboy- didn't take his hat off, boots were taken off....
ReplyDeleteFunny x
Delete601 now, amazing! As popular as you and your blog are, I still understand and agree-Sometimes we all need to feel that we're physically part of the human race. For what it's worth, I'm sending you "a virtual hug",Mary
ReplyDeleteOh my WInnie !!!
ReplyDeleteEven cowgirls get the blues.x
