  4. The magic of aerial photos! I love looking at them.

Our cats do the same when I ignore them for too long. Which in their case is more than five minutes.

  10. I'd have to go up in a hot air balloon to get a shot like yours.
How did you manage to get back in her good books, by the way ?

  15. Ha! At least Mary stays on a chair. One of our dogs insists being on the desk when I do paperwork. She is small, and we permanently have a pillow on the desk for her to curl up on. But, geez, she does none of the filing, stapling, hole-punching .....

  20. My garden is covered in feet of snow. Mary is a faithful sidekick, like my Jack (a cat). I just groomed him with a new grooming glove, my goodness! It should make a significant difference in the upcoming shedding season. Yay.

  21. My village is the exact opposite. We have a church and Mayor's office in one central spot, with all the farmhouses spread out over the rest of the village land. A real agricultural community.

    1. Ditto mine. Church and school and the rest covers 10 squares kilometres.

  22. Sweet Mary looks like she's reading a dog book - she is adorable!

Love the village from the air - enlarged one can really see the details - bigger than I was expecting. If I can ever get to visit my friends in Prestatyn I see on the map you are not far away for a cuppa! Will call first of course, haha!!!!!

    Happy weekend - Mary

  23. John your village is so charming! I lived in a small little German town by the river when I first moved to Missouri. There were taverns and several wineries. The taverns, were for the whole family to drink, eat and visit with neighbors. I still go to Hermann; I love the atmosphere of small communities! Gabs

Our dog is constantly looking for a pet or a scratch or a walk or a treat...it's a rare day that she sleeps and keeps to herself!

and Mary on her own chair at the table. It's starting to feel like spring here was out clearing today as well.
