Kitchen Art

Coincidence !
Yesterday we went Christmas shopping and as we passed a local art gallery in Llandudno I suggested we go in and look at the exhibits
After a while The Prof pointed out an original picture that he liked and I was gobsmacked as I remembered falling in love with it when seeing the same print in Theatre Clwyd earlier in the year.
The tiny Church reminded me of our village church and the style of the piece gave me a nostalgic 1930 sort of feeling!
He bought it on the spot
It's going in our new kitchen ........

I love that picture. I read your blog every day and on Saturday was patiently waiting for my husband to come back to the car which was parked outside Debenhams in Llandudno. I looked up and saw you and the Prof walk past. I was just about to get out of the car and come and say hello when it suddenly struck me that I don’t really know you and you certainly don’t know me, so I stayed where I was! I am pretty sure I would recognise Winnie in a line-up too! It was quite an odd feeling. Jax

    1. Ja,
How lovely, you should have said hello...I would have loved that
The Prof however would have just lifted an eyebrow!

I thought it might be intrusive but if it happens again, then I will! My husband would think I was a loon accosting strangers in the street. How do you explain that to me you are not a stranger and Winnie, in particular, is like family! Deprived dog lover here! Jax
