Always a bit of lavender and whatever else I might be involved in.
ReplyDeleteI guess you sleep well
ReplyDeleteOld Lady stuff.
ReplyDeletePoo and wee?
DeleteMint, chocolate, vanilla.
DeleteJeez, John!
I just asked Ron and he said I don't have a particular smell.....at least not an offensive one!
ReplyDeleteGet him to sniff you again.....
DeleteThat's funny that you wear Clinique "Happy". My current favorite perfume is Clinique's "Happy In Bloom". I rarely get to wear it though because of my allergies.
ReplyDeleteOn a normal day, I think I smell of Pond's soap, apple-scented shampoo, and old books. :)
I remember a patient woke up from a ventilator recently and said " you smell lovely"
DeleteI used to smell of patchouli (don't judge!), but now I occasionally smell of amber resin.
ReplyDeleteYou hippy xxx
Deletewashing powder and shampoo o n a good day
ReplyDeleteA mum smell!
ReplyDeleteReplica Flower Market is my favourite of the moment ... I'm a bit fussy when it comes to fragrance ...... I only like a few .... my other favourite is Clinique Aromatics Elixir.🤛XXXX
ReplyDeleteA lady of class
Deletevanilla essential oil or patchouli essential oil (I am allergic to the chemicals in perfume). the shampoo can be either raspberry or kiwi lime or strawberry scent.
ReplyDeleteand yes, it was big daddy who "smelled mendacity" (cat on a hot tin roof).
glad to hear you don't smell like scotch eggs and farts.
Beneath the scruff. I am rather refinedx
Delete:-)
DeleteChanel No 5. I have such a poor sense of smell that I find it very difficult to choose perfume. I can't smell it once it's been applied. So I stick with something I know I used to love.
ReplyDeleteU classy cow x
DeleteAnother Chanel No 5 gal here, unfortunately due to my age it's not the only thing I wear in bed.
DeleteChanel No 5 and a wynciette nighty. Oh... and bedsocks :)
Jo Malone Lime Basil & Manderin with a whiff of Bichon Frise !
ReplyDeleteBulgari green tea
ReplyDeleteHave you been to Rangers apartment?
Deletebergamot and patchouli and sometimes lemon eucalyptus.
ReplyDeleteOh, God, this reminds me: A girlfriend from high school once asked me what she smelled like. No way could I tell her the truth as I thought she smelled like scented panty shields. So I said: "Baby powder". She was very pleased with that.
ReplyDeleteIt is said that to Asian people, westerners smell like sour milk.
ReplyDeleteTo the English, Australians smell of billabongs and coolibah trees.
DeleteCurrently- tomatoe plant clippings, garlic, leeks and homemade pizza. I make my own soap from coconut oil and olive oil with my own mix of essential oils- lavender, patchouli and rose geranium. I am hoping that is what people can smell around me , most of the time.
ReplyDeleteBarb
Right at the moment I smell like tomato plants as I have been trimming them. In about half an hour I'll smell like 'Bath and Body Works' sweet pea shower gel and body lotion.
ReplyDeleteReady for bed and smelling of imperial leather soap.
ReplyDeleteOn a good day, soap and water, toothpaste and mouthwash....right now.....fish,.
ReplyDelete"Rose" perfume by Paul Smith.....two bottles from Heathrow Duty Free every year I'm back in Blighty. Sigh!......If I left it to my boys, I'd get something obnoxious like "Poison". Apologies to anyone that likes that, but it smells like drain cleaner to me!
ReplyDeleteClean and Listerine, with a whiff of cookie.
ReplyDeleteToday; tomato plants, pumpkin beer and my hair smells vaguely of stale cigarette from the concert I was at last night. I clean up well, though.
ReplyDeleteViktor and Rolf's Flowerbomb.
ReplyDeleteYou said not to say so i wont...but the electric has been off since last sunday..thanks to irma. At least i did all the laundry before she attacked. So hopefully i smell like clean clothes.no good idea when electric will return.

ReplyDeleteFresh air from my long walk in the cool air. I love fall; even if we're not quite there on the calendar yet, the weather is.

My grandma smelled of oil of olay and Sand and Sable perfume... My mom smelled of Chantilly perfume... out of the shower i smell of cotton candy body spray and once i'm dressed and ready to go about my day... I prefer Sand and Sable like grandma or Jasmine..... Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteI love Sand and Sable. I used to wear that but really haven't worn any perfume in years. My mother wore Nina Ricci's L'Air du Temps. She passed away in 2012. Every once in a while I'll smell that on someone and it's like she's there again.
DeleteIn the wintertime, Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet. In the summer (or in the warmer climes), Hermes' Au Jardin sur le Nil. Very occasionally, for a night out, Bleu de Chanel or Carolina Herrera's 212.
ReplyDeleteBut on a daily basis, because I spend all day interviewing people, mostly Altoids.
Sensitive skin requires that I get natural plant based products that I often spike with essentials, at the moment lavender, rosemary and frankincense are in my cream and the lotion is coconut/lemon. Never have been able to tolerate regular perfumes. Used to be so envious of friends who could experiment with perfumes.
ReplyDeleteIn the summer it is Jo Malone's Orange Blossom and in the winter it's Jo Malone Myrrh and Tonka. Well most days.
ReplyDeleteClinique Happy is my fave, too, though I just got some 'Woman' by Ralph Lauren and I love it.
ReplyDeleteCabochard
ReplyDeleteI have always wore a Rose Perfume. First it was because of a French Rose in a beautiful oval bottle but now I wear Tea Rose. People alway say how nice it is and I love it.
ReplyDeleteA sent called Happy is perfect for you.
cheers, parsnip
Aw, that last line; that's sweet.
DeleteI tend to smell of citrus when I go to work, orange or grapefruit soap and a light grapefruit cologne.
ReplyDeleteDays off, Chanel 19 in the summer and Chanel 22 in the winter. Clean and crisp in the summer and warm and soft in the winter.
Bergamot and lemon verbena OR Hawaiian Tropic sunscreen OR Angel by Thierry Mugler.
ReplyDeleteLizzy
I always have a hint on Tom Ford on....in all the important places.
ReplyDeletenext time we meet, I shall have to check that out (wink wink)!
DeleteA mixture of Alba unscented lotion and Neutrogena light sesame body oil...you would be surprised at how many compliments I get with this...
ReplyDeleteSoap, the outdoors, hair products. I can't handle scent anymore, so no perfume for me and I try to find nonscented products, especially laundry soap. But, long ago when my respiratory system was fine with scent, I had channel body lotion which was exquisite. -Jenn
ReplyDeleteStarbucks and Estee Lauder Cinnabar Spray and Lotion.
ReplyDeleteapricots and grapefruit
ReplyDeleteCheap own-brand French supermarket 'Musk', and on special occasions some very expensive 'Patchouli'.
ReplyDeletePears soap and wet dog. I always use the same soap so I can imprint on my newborn grandchild. She of course smells wonderful.

ReplyDeleteI'm an Estee Lauder White Linen girl ... I was gifted some about 25 years ago, and people kept on asking me what I was wearing so I figured it must suit my skin/ph/temperature or something. I still get asked every few months so I guess it hasn't morphed into something obnoxious.
ReplyDeleteJust had my breakfast so I'm guessing - kippers. But I like to wear Estee Lauder's Le Rouge.
ReplyDeleteI smell of whichever perfume my daughter was given by her mother in law, daughter only wears Jo Malone so I get the cast offs.
ReplyDeleteDKNY. Love flowers, but don't like wearing floral scents.
ReplyDeleteI don't use anything with perfume in it. Sometimes I smell of beer, coffee and garlic. Though not all at the same time.
ReplyDeleteWe took my MiL to lunch yesterday. The moment she sat in the car it filled with the smell of a clinic. TCP and ointment. She usually masks it with Anai Anai but not yesterday. Me? Probably dog.
ReplyDeleteRight this moment I smell of cat and dog food - after my shower a light spray of a nice light Liz Earle perfume.
ReplyDeleteOne of my brothers gave our mum Tweed perfume for her birthday every year ( I guess he thought she was a tweedy sort of person - she wasn't ) She didn't really use it so every Christmas I used some in my home made bath salts I saw being made on Blue Peter... soda crystals, food colouring & perfume. I suspect none of the recipients actually used it but one rather eccentric aunt did & it turned her rather large bottom purple ! Happy memories.
I love that you spray yourself Happy x
When my eldest had a school project (many years ago) one of the tasks was to describe how things smelt. Other children described their mum as smelling of baking, flowery soap, perfume etc. Mine described me as smelling of paint! "How lovely, is mummy an artist?" gushed Miss. "No she's always bloody decorating!". My darling husband's words accurately repeated. Miss told us this with much glee at parents evening. x
ReplyDelete"Dulux" by Calvin Klein... the aroma of success.
DeleteIf that was a perfume I would probably buy it hehe
Deletefunny, Lisa :)
DeleteChanel Mademoiselle....... I have had the bottle for years I use a tiny squirt and it smells gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI smell of halitosis.
ReplyDeleteSpecial occasions it's Chanel No 5 - my all time favourite. Other times it could be talcum powder !
ReplyDeleteWrights Coal Tar soap and Thierry Mugler's Angel.
ReplyDeleteMy son is 52 and I bought Wrights soap when he was 8 as it was the only thing that got his knees clean. Strangely my granddaughter who has asthma and eczema is able to be washed/bathed in Wright coal tar so it says something for its purity. Andie xxx
Wrights Coal Tar soap is great for warding off mosquitos - I use it all through the summer.
DeleteShampoo, toothpaste and the faint wiff of damp dog. I'm extremely allergic to perfumed products ☹
ReplyDeleteVanderbilt (old-fashioned now but I love it).
ReplyDeleteI'd like to smell of black leather on the back of a Harley.I've been binge watching Sons of Anarchy.
ReplyDeleteNothing but pure and clean.
ReplyDeleteToday it's Carolina Herrera....
ReplyDeleteThe farmer didn't care for perfume so I never wore any (think he looked at the price of good perfume and paled to be truthful) but we always both used Imperial Leather soap and talcum and I have continued to do so as it reminds me of him.
ReplyDeleteI work in a soap factory so it's a different flavor every day. We used to get free drinks after work for freshening up the bar though.....
ReplyDeleteNo Way! You work in a soap factory?! That is SO COOL!
DeleteWait. Is this some English code for something that is not a soap factory? Is that why you get free drinks? I'm so confused. Just pretend I'm not here.
C.O. Bigelow Black, I use the shower gel.
ReplyDeleteJust plain soap.
ReplyDeleteChandrika soap. I love this soap so much that all I ask for in my Christmas stocking.
ReplyDeleteStrong, black coffee. It's early morning here and the aroma fills our home.
ReplyDeleteI am honestly not sure. I hope I smell of nothing. (I have a terrible sense of smell and seldom notice what other people smell like unless it's really, really pungent!)
ReplyDeleteI live in the land of sunshine, white sand and water, so of course I wear "Beach" lotion and spray mist by Bath and Body Works!! I love the smell of beaches, the sound of gulls, the crash of a wave...
ReplyDeleteIt used to be fresh spunk, but now it is stale piss. Only dogs can tell the difference, or so they tell me.
ReplyDeleteGrandpa's home!!
DeleteYou are retired, I am not. I imagine some smells linger longer than others? Ask an expert!
DeleteKinell. I am sounding like bloody Heron now, so I am, so I am, to be sure.
DeleteBarf
DeleteWhat the fuck are you on about?
ReplyDeleteSnap! I smell of Clinique Happy too. But only Monday to Friday. On the weekends I smell of Chanel Number 5.
ReplyDeleteJo Malone
ReplyDeleteLime Basil & Mandarin
Body Creme
My favorite
Not when I am weeding in the gardens though!
I absolutely love that smell ❤
DeleteMy 11 year old niece happily told me she likes my smell, because I smell like dog! :D Actually I have a perfume sensitivity, so I think I generally smell slightly of the eucalyptus wool wash I can still wash my clothes in, plus normal clean human, minus all the usual perfumes in which humans and their accoutrements are steeped these days. I guess I also smell a bit like a dog. :D
ReplyDeleteI've no idea what I smell of, though Jenny says it's a pleasant smell. She wouldn't have stuck around if it wasn't! Fortunately BO is rare these days as people wash more thoroughly, but I can remember a lot of it in the less hygienic sixties!
ReplyDeleteI smell of Lust -it's a perfume from Lush, honest!
ReplyDeleteRight now I smell of Allure... (Homme) Sport by Chanel.
ReplyDeleteMy husband uses Happy. I like Cool Water
ReplyDeleteGloria Vanderbilt... have used it for donkey's years now... it's become my signature perfume.
