Jelly Fish!

I have nothing interesting to say today. Two more long night shifts under my belt with only four more to go, I am still tired and washed out with just enough chutzpah left to give Mary a bubble bath, Winnie a scrub with her fanny flannel and a curry cooked from scratch on the cooker hob.
I will leave you with Carol Caudwell's entry for the novelty veg/fruit competition

Keep em comming to jgsheffield@hotmail.com

  12. Fantastic jellyfish! As they say in the southern parts of the US, hunker down and those last 4 shifts soon will be only a memory ...

  16. Fabulous jellyfish. I worked as a nurse years ago on a medical ward in the nhs, nights were my favourite shift - damn hard work, if we were one member of staff down we were totally knackered by the morning. One awful night (3 shrouds were kept in the laundry room) we actually ran out and I had to borrow one from another ward! Oh dear, that was a really busy night. Memories.

  17. Lovely. I really do think that everyone is not a critic, but many are true sculptors.

    2. Every time I see or think of jellyfish, I remember the fact that they are not one animal - each jellyfish is is a colony of many little animals. I only found this out a couple of years ago.

  19. I am chuffed to bits to feature on John's blog and to get so many lovely comments on my jelly fish. I put it on my own blog "Carol's chickens" which as you can imagine is mostly about my chickens and I got one comment which was from my mum, sigh. Thank you John and all your lovely commenters.
