I've seen about three of the 'big' ones, and they are very good. Miniature movies, and perfect in every way. Whether they would make me shop at Waitrose or Marks, I couldn't say, because I used to shop there anyway.
Always mute the ads ... they get so repetitive and boring - but these are great!! The big chain stores should have employed you to produce their ads, sure you could have done just as well!! Kind regards.
Bit disappointed with this years adverts... Started watching TWD, but have had to stop, because I HATE NEGAN SO MUCH! I just wanted Rosita to kill him so badly that I couldn't watch her have to cowtow to him....
You have some lovely ads in your country. Most of the ads in the US have to do with the Pharma industry. However, because of this election, we will all need more drugs.
How cute, the first one if touching, the second - it would be to soon after the election to run in the USA - some would boycott the brand for being political.
Aahhh, I got to cry this morning :) This was just beautiful .. nothing like it here .. yet ... and probably won't be as sweet. Christmas will be weird for me this year ... living where it is warm.
Obviously I am talking about the first one, the little bird. I don't want to see anything related to the second one, for a long time, we overdosed on this topic here in the US.
I love the Christmas ads from the UK . They are so clever. Wasn't their one last year where the dog sorta' burns down the house ? Saw the original bouncy ad first with the little child and his dog. Made me giggle. Love the little robin, just tugs at my heart. I will say it again, your major shops make the best Christmas ads. Nothing like that here in America.
I know, call me a sentimental old fool if you like, but I liked the Youtube clip of Buster the boxer bouncing up and down in the living room whilst watch the JL ad on TV. Arilx
That makes me want Christmas here more than ever:)

ReplyDeleteI used to believe in flying reindeer.
ReplyDeleteI shall have to start looking at the adverts I think - I rarely watch anything but BBC but these certainlyliven things up a bit.
ReplyDeleteHA! HA! I wish The White House would fall off the top of the trampoline and crush that particular pooch.

ReplyDeleteThat makes me feel bad about shopping at Waitrose, but I have to admit they are clever bastards.
ReplyDeleteJust watched the other one and laughed out loud!

That is a hell of a long way to go for one measly mince pie.
ReplyDeleteLove the other video though. I will steal that for my Sunday Round-up :)
I like the first one. The second one - not so much ...

I forgot, Didn't Weaver have a story about a robin's nest in a pot in The Farmers work shed ?
