Not bad for 3 hours sleep.
I've done the table.
The Prof is cooking.....and
I can feel a slight stress in the air!
Albert is dying to walk on the white tablecloth,
William is building up for a mega back up dump against the Christmas decs,
Winnie is looking for the slippers of sex
And George is rolling his tired old eyes at it all from the safety of the arm chair
Happy Christmas from Going Gently
One and all. X
It all looks lovely! Enjoy the day!
ReplyDeleteloverly table, dear; complete with the crackers! have a FUNderful day!
ReplyDeleteHappy, silly, tired and loving Christmas to all of you... whether you have two feet or four.
ReplyDeleteHappy Christmas to you and yours. Beautiful table.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely Christmas meal John with whoever it is coming round. Skinny has just come in soaked and had a plate of turkey I saved for him. Thomas, White Bib and Fire Care are asleep on P's bed because the electric blanket was left on so left us in peace while we had ours. Skinny is about to join them. We had the crackers I forgot to put out last year. xxxx

ReplyDeleteYou've set a beautiful table John, so hope that the Prof's meal lives up to it. You told us what all the "family" have been doing, but didn't mention what Mary has been up to.
ReplyDeleteYes, I was wondering about Mary too. Maybe she is resting up after the virgin birth. Beautiful table - peaceful and elegant for now. I imagine it will look quite different in a few hours!
DeleteMerry Christmas to one and all in the little cottage with all the animals, near the church in the village of Trelawnyd.
ReplyDeleteFrom a home in the hills of Tucson with a Scotty.

It is so kind of you to invite that old homeless guy round for Christmas dinner. Sitting there at the other end of the table, he looks famished. Poor old soul.
ReplyDeleteHey ho; life goes on. Happy Christmas to you, your husband, and all the creatures. Cro.

ReplyDeleteThe table looks very inviting. Hope it was a successful and happy feast!
ReplyDeleteHappy Chrristmas to you all xxx
ReplyDeleteThe table looks wonderful John. After a lovely day at my Mum's, my cat (who had been kept in my house all day)greeted me by doing a poo in the litter tray and then skidding all around the conservatory and dining room laminated floor to remove several clingons. It wasn't the best way to end the day at 2.00am!!!
ReplyDeleteYou set a very pretty table. I hope the Prof did as well with the food. You two have much to celebrate this year and I wish you much happiness for the years to come.
