Dawn at the TENKO camp
It's 7.15 am Sunday morning here in the quarantine hospital and its a lovely day.
We are going to the airport soon on the return flight home.
George, I understand , has had the time of his life at my sister's house. He has been wiggling his stubby feet all ver the beach each day! Winnie will be, no doubt, sleeping soundly under Norma's duvet like Winston Churchill after too many ports and William should be pining for home at the kennels.....
It will be nice to see the children again.
We should have had kids.......
animal companions are much better than human children.
ReplyDeletesafe return home to the little village.
Travel safely.
ReplyDeleteI am sure that the children will be as pleased to see you as you them.
It should be a quick exit if you are flying BA. They don't bother with stairs I hear.
ReplyDelete:-)
DeleteSafe journey home John (and Chris!) I can't wait to hear about the animals again. I wonder how many 'surprises' Albert will have left for you!
ReplyDeleteSuch a great trip but it will feel wonderful to be back home and be with the kids!
ReplyDeleteSafe journey home x
ReplyDeleteWell, you DO have kids. Animal children and you love them and cherish them and you are great parents.
ReplyDeleteSo there.
May your flights be smooth and easy.
Have a safe trip home to Wales.
ReplyDeleteBe thankful you only have domestic animals! They will appreciate your return more than any kids would - take my word for it! You will even get licks and kisses, and they won't expect expensive presents or even cheap Sydney t- shirts!
Safe Journey .
ReplyDeleteHave a safe trip home, come back again soon!
ReplyDeleteIt's so true John you and Chris would be great parents . I always so look forwards to seeing my beloved hounds after holidays . My dogs have 5 star accomodation at my mothers .... I am so glad you had a great holiday and loved that you guys were here in Oz. Hope it's a good trip home and a great reunion at home with the animals. Hope there is not too much animal guts to clear up and that Winnie's fanny is pristine xxxx
ReplyDeleteyou do have kids. now that the vaca is over i assume scotch eggs are back on the menu?
ReplyDeleteFurkids are kids too :)
ReplyDeleteYou do have kids. They're just verbally challenged. Safe travels!
ReplyDeleteHave a fun trip home
ReplyDeleteJust catching up on blogs after having had a total knee replacement on Tuesday, came home yesterday so have to get stuck into the exercises!
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed your visit and do come again.
Pretty sure if you had kids you couldn't afford to travel as much.
ReplyDeleteI have just caught up with your adventures, and it sounds like your Ozzie holiday was quite the adventure.
ReplyDeleteGood food, good friends, good times...what could be nicer.
Wishing you safe travels homeward, I can see your kids jumping up and down in excitement of seeing you return to the fold.

The trouble with human kids is that not many kennels will take them; much easier with your bunch. Travel safely.
ReplyDeleteEven if I did have kids, I wouldn't look forward to seeing them like I do my dogs. That's probably why I don't have kids. :) Safe travels and happy homecoming!
ReplyDeleteSafe travels, I hope all is well on your return!
ReplyDeletethere is time for you to have a kid or two
ReplyDeleteAh, animal children do not go out and smash the family car, just sayin'.
ReplyDeleteI hope your trip is a good one! Homeward Bound - now I will hear S & G half the night...
Unfortunately, you can't put kids in kennels. Strangely enough, they expect to be taken on holiday with you. You'd have to swap a romantic fortnight in Australia for a week of family fun at Butlins....
ReplyDeleteIt's fun to go away, but great to get back home…especially to see the family again……. the dogs! Safe journey. X
ReplyDeleteShort and sweet holiday John - but there is no place like home. So glad you have kept us all informed of your goings on.
ReplyDeleteFour legged kids & ones with feathers await your return x and us of course !
ReplyDeleteChildren and animals - two very different skill sets....
ReplyDeleteYou DO have kids. I have kids of both types ... these days, I am much preferring the 4 footed ones.
ReplyDeleteSafe journey,,its gone quick !
ReplyDeleteSafe travels home...I know you've been missed.
ReplyDeleteYou should have had kids? You mean young goats? Still not too late to enlarge your menagerie in a most interesting fashion. Go for it, I say!
ReplyDelete'Should have had kids' ? You've got kids ... they're just of the furry variety ... the BEST sort ;-)
