I was pleased with yesterday's snapshot post
Farting through windows, egg throwing teens and Flower Show news
It's all go here in the village
Today's post is even better
" take aim........finger on the trigger....and FIRE!"
It's amazing just what some judicious antibiotics
Half a can of kitikat
and a good night's sleep can do to an old turkey
Bingley's Back!
Great news!
ReplyDeleteHooray ! Hope my good thoughts helped a little, was quite upset after reading yesterday's post.
ReplyDeleteNo sure who has the beadier eye in this picture. lol

ReplyDeleteThank Goodness for that! Hate it when animals are poorly.
ReplyDeleteThank Goodness for that! Hate it when animals are poorly.
ReplyDeleteGood boy Bingley! x Hope you see out many Christmases' yet!
ReplyDeleteLike.
ReplyDeleteHurrah for Bingley. Great news. Has anyone heard from Hippo on the Lawn? Hope he is OK. Jan Bx.
ReplyDeleteI emailed him on Sunday but no answer as yet, I'm afraid jan
DeleteThankyou, I hope he responds and is well. Janx.
DeleteHe has come back to keep an eye on you John after your yesterday's exploits up the ladder.
ReplyDeleteYaaaaayyyyy!
ReplyDeleteGo for it Bingley.
Thank goodness, good old Bingley1
ReplyDeleteHello janet..... Welcome
DeleteOnly 90 shopping days till Christmas.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you think is on Bingley's shopping list, Cro?
DeleteGlad he is feeling better, John. I do so like turkeys (and not just on the plate). I have fond memories of our Tom (yes, I know, pedestrian name), of many years ago.
Stuffing and chestnuts. All to be 'gobbled' up.
DeleteHe's over five now...he'd be tough as old boots
DeleteSlow cooked wrapped in foil and he'll be as tender as a youngun.
Delete:-)
ReplyDeletebut keep an eye on bingley all the same.
And looking very bright eyed too. Lovely to see :-)
ReplyDeleteDoes he actually like a cuddle or did you just grab him and force one upon him? You need long arms to do a Selfie with a Turkey .. lol.
He's not as tame as Boris who would sit on your knee, but he will happily search my pockets for tidbits all day long
DeleteGood to see him looking all bright eyed and bushy tailed, Bingley looks perky as well.
ReplyDeleteGreat big sigh here......
ReplyDeleteGlad for you and Bingley. At least someone has had good news(feeling sorry for myself. At least I can tell you lot!
ReplyDeleteTell me more liz... What's up sweetheart?
DeleteI'm so pleased, and I've never even met him! We had an old rooster named Pepper (the other half of Salt and Pepper) who lived quite a long life despite being pretty much blind. I have a soft spot for the old gentle ones. Way to catch it in time!
ReplyDeleteJ Yale........nice to have you aboard x
DeleteWhat is it with really FUGLY animals that make them so adorable?
ReplyDeleteYaay! Good news!
ReplyDeleteHard to tell who is happier, you or the turkey.
ReplyDeleteHelooooooo Bingley!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back Bingley!!
ReplyDeleteThere's light and life in his eyes....and yours too. You both look very pleased with yourselves. Hip hip hoooray for Bingley. You're a turkey whisperer John.
ReplyDeleteYay, Bingley! (and an extra Yay for his very good nurse....)
ReplyDeleteYAAAAAAAYYYY!! The pic says it all.
ReplyDeleteWhat a relief, it's great news!
ReplyDeleteThe photo looks like Bingley's about to be fired from your patent hand-held turkey launcher.
ReplyDeleteGreat point... I have just stollen it thanks dave
DeleteI swear, that turkey is smiling!
ReplyDeleteYAY!
ReplyDeleteI never thought I'd see a turkey smile. You really are an animal whisperer, Sir John.
ReplyDeleteNow that is good news!
ReplyDeleteI'm so very glad. Well done John.
ReplyDeleteAwesome. He looks very...perky!
ReplyDeletelike my tits
DeleteThat is the BEST news!!! :)
ReplyDeleteBrilliant news. He looks bright eyed and perky. Lovely red wattle too. Glad you're back to good health Bingley :-)
ReplyDeleteAwwww, Bingley blossoms to peck another day.
ReplyDeleteXO
WWW
Chuffed to bits, John!
ReplyDeleteGood to hear. I was saddened with his earlier puniness. He lives another day to mount you from behind!.
ReplyDeleteGood for Bingley :-) !
ReplyDeleteawwww such a happy face, Bingley looking pretty pleased with himself as well. I like a happy ending
ReplyDeleteYay! That is a wonderful photo :)
ReplyDeleteWhen our cats turn their heads to the wall, it's because they will be upchucking a hairball within the day. Do turkeys have that problem? Never mind, I just thought about my own question ...
Best "selfie" with a celebrity I have seen for a while.
ReplyDelete(Bingley being the celebrity)
I have loads better believe me
DeleteOh, another display of that trick from the irritating silly software that tells me a comment could not be published due to Error 30whatever.., then as soon as I try again up pops the original attempt. Computer taking the piss, obviously. Very funny computer. Ha bleedin' ha. Wasn't even funny the first time (Yes - just like my comment. OK).
ReplyDeleteAnd looking very perky I might add. (as it rhymes with turkey there is a poem there somewhere.) So glad.
ReplyDeleteYou haven't posted about him for a while. Turkeys know these things.
ReplyDeleteJust look at his face, he's counting up the money he's won from the Ukrainian Village. The 'I'll have my name in that blog tomorrow morning' bet.
Bingley is da bomb.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
What great and surprising news!
ReplyDeleteHe looks great, John. Glad to hear it!
ReplyDeleteThis news made me feel a little warm and fuzzy inside
ReplyDeleteSuch good news, have been worried about Bingley. He looks very chirpy, so gllad.
ReplyDeleteGreat stuff. So pleased.
ReplyDeleteOh, such good news ! Bingley looks fabulous. He has some beautiful colors.
ReplyDeleteThat photo is so funny, son does that some times with thehamish.
It is a Scotty gun !
cheers, parsnip
What a fabulous face!
ReplyDeleteThanks... I take after my father
DeleteWonderful, wonderful news. Bingley has a world-wide fan club.
ReplyDeleteGood news - good old Bingley!
ReplyDeleteTHANKS ALL
ReplyDeleteI opened the hen house this morning and he was first out!
He walked right up to me and inspected my pockets for any sign of cat food........I ran back over to the house, nicked Albert's cat bowl and offered Bingley that... He ate the entire lot......
And looks as normal as ever today...... It was, I would admit...a lovely surprise!
Hey ho
Great news, he looked really down in the dumps. The comeback kid. Looking at the huge number of Bingley comments and his perky face, he is really gobbling up the attention. Not on the Thanksgiving platter this year.
ReplyDeleteMy, he's colorful! Glad to hear that he pulled through!
ReplyDeleteYaayyyy for Bingley! I'm glad he is feeling better today.
ReplyDeleteWay to go, Bingley!! You the man!
ReplyDeleteAnother little prayer answered. Great news today about Bingley!
ReplyDeleteWell, bless Bingley's caruncles - he's alive! I am thrilled to know that dear old Bingley had it in him to escape from the grim reaper's clutches. His wattle has great color. his snood is divine & his eyes are clear & bright! Plus, Bingley has broken the jinx of staring at the wall. Are you so thrilled with his recovery that Bingley will be invited to join all the dogs & Albert in bed with you & Chris tonight and perhaps he could have a warm bath in the tub or do you think that might push Chris completely over the edge of sanity? I'll sleep better tonight knowing Bingley is da turkey!
ReplyDelete:)
DeleteGood Heavens, I am absent for 3 days and in that time Bingley has almost succumbed and then made an amazing recovery !! Things sure move fast in Wales.
ReplyDeleteOh happy day! (Gobble gobble)
ReplyDeleteBingley's Back! Yeah!!!
