Sadly it says it's not available in my country. I thought we were all part of the Commonwealth...whine whinge.
ReplyDeleteI looked outnumbered up on you tube.....OMG what a hoot. That little girl is priceless.
DeleteOh John …… I love this bit of Outnumbered . It very nearly beats the one where Karen is bridesmaid !!!! XXXX
ReplyDeletebloody hell - not available in the USA. :(
ReplyDeleteSorry..... It's a Uk sit one called outnumbered ....the scene is where a cocky smart waspish girl gets her comeuppance from a wise shopworn headmistress
DeleteI loved that series - Ramona Marquez was a star aged 6 - literally. Absolutely brilliant.
ReplyDeleteCan't be that good if the beeb won't allow the world to watch, must be something second-rate about the film or perhaps they are just ashamed ?
ReplyDeleteWas almost afraid to after the last post, John!
ReplyDeleteWelcome to my world :)
ReplyDeleteCan't see it. Drat.
ReplyDeleteDenied the chance to chuckle. Sad.
ReplyDeleteI am disappointed, it says "not available in your country", which in my case is the USA. My hubby and I love British tv comedy when we can find it.
ReplyDeleteCan't get it!
ReplyDeleteHaha............Excellent!
ReplyDeleteI've just watched it but where were the laughs? Maybe it needs a second viewing - or third..... (I'll say it for you - "Oh dear!")
ReplyDeleteI didn't think it was that funny. I just watched it and haven't laughed. Is there something wrong with me?
ReplyDeleteWell, what a relief to know I'm not alone!
DeleteI didn't find it funny either, "smart arsed" teachers are worse than the children; they are supposed to be old enough to know better!
DeleteThank you Raybeard and Penelope.
DeleteJ.G. - Nah nah na-NAH na!
DeleteI must have missed that episode…brilliant acting from both. Ramona was even better as a 6/7 year old …..I used to want to slap the young Ben, and would have done if he was mine! My favourite " sit-com" of all time is " Not Going Out" ( Lee Mack/Tim Vine) I can watch them over and over and still laugh!
ReplyDeleteI have a love/hate relationship with that show. I tend to end up shouting at the parents "YOU are the grown up sort them out!" Yes I know that's the point. But it is very close to home for some young people (brats) I know. I LOVE that head teacher.
ReplyDeleteMany so-called TV comedies leave me cold but "Outnumbered" was always guaranteed to make me laugh. Great cast but Hugh Dennis and Ramona Maruez were the ones who really did it for me.
ReplyDeleteI laughed 'til the tears rolled down my cheeks - been there, done that. Trouble is - kids usually win in the end - one way or another.
ReplyDeleteExcellent. Innocent young pupil comprehensively out-manoeuvred by very experienced head teacher. I liked the way she recommended Lord of the Flies. And said Roald Dahl had ruined more lives than polio.
ReplyDeleteI could not view the clip since I am in USA, but I was able to watch a different one where a nurse gives Karen an injection. LOL
ReplyDeleteIs it just me or did anyone else like Karen with her blond curls? She looks a bit weird with dark tresses.
ReplyDeleteHumour appreciation varies so much between people. I'd give it a "mildy amusing but too long" rating. I expected it was building to something, but it just fizzled out (for me, just as you were doubled over with laughter, possibly)
