Wouldn't mind a bit of cool at the moment - not the white stuff tho' What was it my mother used to say - 'chin up darling, worse things happen at sea'. No idea what she meant lol
I guess it does all seem a bit much after the rain you've been having. Still....after looking at my 6 foot plus snow banks I have a little trouble working up any sympathy lol. Ah summer...where are you?????
It's 0.6C here, and we just had a freaking thunderstorm! It's been raining all day and no warmer than 1C all day. I understand your frustration, John. *hugs* ♥
It is going to be frigging 90 this weekend. ! It is suppose to be 60 with rain in the valley and snow in the mountains ! I am so feed up with this weather as you are with yours. Summer will be one huge fire season. Tucson need some rain !
Angryparsnip has a right to be angry--as does San Diego and any drought impacted place. One comment above asked what could happen next? Well, there is always the caldera in Yellowstone National Park...it about time for it to create havoc and world-wide disasters.
Now John, don't start hyperventilating over half an inch (sorry by I don't do metric) of snow - yesterday was bad enough! We have had a similar amount yesterday - it went during the day - and again this morning. But worry not - it is February, not November and Spring can't be all that far away. Can it??
We are getting hit with ice storms all the way to the South Carolina coast. Where I am is almost sub-tropical. The climate change nay-savers are getting the weather blasted at them this year.
We had some of that here yesterday afternoon. Lashed all mucky, haily and slushy for about 60 seconds and then melted away in the next 60! At the moment the gales are approaching -- no doubt it's worse where you are though.
Gets to you, huh! We go through this every winter in Ontario. This one has been very tiring. Hang in there. Deb
