Audiomachine

Chris is away working until Sunday. I shall miss him but I won't be bored, as each evening I have something planned, whether it be work, cinema, Samaritans  or a pint in the local with affable despot Jason.....sometimes you can indulge yourself when alone......watch what you like on tv, slob around in your pants or listen to music at full blast without the obligatory " get this shit off" comment.
I have a guilty secret when it comes to music.
I adore " epic music"....full blast......arms waving,eyes shut, emotional romping....... the works.......
I know it's a bit geeky
But great fun

And this is another one of my guilty pleasures

  1. Love it John ……. as loud as it will go too. I have lived my whole life with loud music…..my dad was in a band and played saxophone and clarinet so, was either playing his instruments or 78's, and my mum was a singer. Then it was me as a teenager with the music of the 60's and, our children always had music on. Our son was executive producer at BBC Radio One until Christmas but is now freelance and writes music. He is now with his family in his own house playing and writing music but, we still have music on all of the time. Were you in your pants when you were listening to Audiomachine ? Just want to get the mental picture right !!! XXXX

  3. Dogs will love that special music as well - they will have worked it out that your are in a good mood when you have listened to that and probably that they will get a walk out !!

  4. It can be relaxing having the house to yourself once in a while.

  5. I have to admit that I also like it when the house is my own and the music and the TV is of my own choosing.

  8. OOOh love the music. I too like my occasional alone time but for me it is Charles Trenet singing Le Mer...or the Entrance of the Queen of Sheba and Swan Lake....husband likes 24-7 news and politics..Jason sounds as though he is a very fun kind of fellow. Enjoy your free for all time :)

  10. My husband listens to the music videos on the country music channel- like a 3 yr old watches Barney (or whatever they watch these days)- over and over again.... ackkkk! I like just about everything. Classical, folk, musical soundtracks, rock and pop and most things in between- especially if I can sing along :-) Can we turn that shit off -hahahah, that would be me!

  11. Thank you. Absolutely loved the song.
And especially loved the image of you and the dogs cavorting through the house to the music.

  12. Love both your clips, but found it difficult to do-my-dance-thing and wave arms around to "Happy!" because my dog got over-excited and well, you know, that sort of thing just ain't on, not in my house! Hmph!

  14. There have been so many mentions of underpants/long johns and the like lately John that I really think we should be allowed a studio-type portrait.

  15. Are we twins? Happy is my fave song at the moment....blasting away on radio, dancing like a video ho (when alone, natch). I dance sedately when the kids are around and they roll eyes and leave room.

Delores - I hear you honey, unexpected 'retirement' in this house, grrr.

  17. Wow! That was a great selection! Both songs give you this 'let's get up of the couch and do great things'-feeling. I even danced around and wiggled my hips a little bit!
