Waddu think?
Classy & Festive enough?
The cottage has taken on a multicolored glow this evening
And as I pin up more lights,
George and William have sneaked off to bed upstairs
Winifred has stalked off to her crate
and Meg and Albert are curled up in front of the fire
A snow globe bought from Saks on fifth avenue
Is lost on them
......animals!
They have no class

Deletepretty!
ReplyDeleteJust like you sweetie x
DeleteLovely :)
ReplyDeleteWell, it looks wonderfully festive and cozy. Better than our bare tree, which we are hoping the cat will get used to before we add those irresistable dangling toys for her to enjoy...
ReplyDeleteevery year when i put up the tree the first thing teddy does is bring one of her toys over and drops it underneath the tree. she doesn't even play with them but she is sure to drop one under the tree.
ReplyDeleteMagical !

Love the reflection of the lights on the snow globe....beautiful.
ReplyDeleteFabulous photo !
ReplyDeleteSo pretty.
Next years card ?
cheers, parsnip
Wow. You are so far ahead of me in the decorating stakes. Both in time and in style.
ReplyDeleteEverything and everyone is looking great, John. :-)
ReplyDeleteNew York landmarks? I'd love being there right now... Rockefeller Center KNOWS how to do Christmas... and it sure looks like you do as well! (oh well... if you tell me this is London or Paris, I'd love to be there as well ;-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!!
ReplyDeleteLovely!
ReplyDeleteLuminous!
ReplyDeleteI like the colors and sparkles in your photo.
ReplyDeleteI'm still trying to ignore all the early hype; all our glitz goes up on the 18th Dec (and comes down on 12th night). Your snow globe is fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI have a soft spot for snow globes. Very cool!
ReplyDeleteThe C word already! Time for me to look for the box of decs in the garage. I may even be able to find them this year. Your snow globe is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteLove it. I wanted to buy a snow globe in New York but didn't find one i liked enough ( shoulda gone to Saks )
ReplyDeleteLove the snow globe and the photo. I might just throw out the humbug this year and get excited about Christmas - my daughter is coming back from Oz for her first visit in 5 years.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, but still slightly early for me. Weekend of the 15th will do (and that's for Yule on Dec 21 - not even the C word!)
ReplyDeleteAwww .... pretty, pretty, pretty!!
ReplyDeleteLove the snow globe. Right about the dogs - absolutely no class, far more interested in cuddles than in whether you have cleared the table and made the bed or not.
ReplyDeleteVery cosmopolitan John.........hope you're giving it a good shake regularly..............fnarrr fnarrr.
ReplyDeleteLove the snowdome...we have an identical one also bought from Saks!
ReplyDeleteLovely decorations. Tis' the season!!
ReplyDeleteAnd here's me thinking that a C word decoration is something very different!!!
ReplyDeleteOff to Germany this weekend for overload of Christmas kitch
Animals know when it's bedtime, and they're wise enough to go to bed at bedtime; whereas we stay up late and wake up grumpier than usual because of a short night's rest...
ReplyDeleteThe cats usually like the lights and the tree. We'll most likely get our tree in the next day or two. I prefer later in the month, and like Cro, we take it down on the 12th day (night) of Christmas.
I like the look of the C decs at your house.
Not sure how my puppy ( mini schnauzer now aged nearly 6 months) will cope with baubles on a tree. I am worried !
