The weather today is atrocious. Wet, cold and blustery, though you couldn't tell from the above photo. Irene and Sylvia are backing into the weather with scowls on their faces and the Ukrainian village is totally deserted.....only the ducks and geese are out
I am going to play hooky this afternoon and am off to the cinema.......what a treat!

They're beauties! Have a good time at the cinema.
ReplyDeleteIt's apparently very designery to have a pair of Soay sheep.
ReplyDeleteI was at a recording of Gardeners Question Time last night and Bunny Guinness (Chelsea designer) was talking about hers, aka lawn mowers.
Enjoy the film.
Have fun at the flicks... what you seeing?
ReplyDeleteWeather here is biblical - just been trying to find old Noah's number to see if he's still got that Ark he's been trying to offload...
Are they not saying you are in for an unusually cold and snowy Winter? May be coming on early. Enjoy the movie!
ReplyDeleteAs they say ~ weather for ducks!
ReplyDeleteIt all looks very neat and tidy!
ReplyDeletehave fun! we are having the same weather here and they are calling for flurries by next week!
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing better on a cold, rainy day than going to see a good movie.
ReplyDeleteI bet you are going to see "Filth" but you'll be surprised to find that it is not a film about keeping animals or cleaning up ICU patients! (Also miserable weather in Sheffield today)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your treat!
ReplyDeleteSame weather here too, good thing I'm indoors right now. Well, enjoy the film and let me know if it was any good. Get out while you can mate, winter is rearing her ugly head and is on her merry way to upset us....
ReplyDeleteWhen we lived in our 16 century cottage { 27 years ago !} there was a covenant that said that anyone could graze their sheep on our lawn !! No one ever took up the offer. We're in a Victorian house now ..... I don't think that they wanted sheep on their lawns !! My Dad was a Freeman of the City of London and he could take his sheep over London Bridge .... shame that he didn't have any. He could have borrowed yours John.
ReplyDeleteIt's been raining all day here so, the cinema seems like a good idea. Have fun. XXXX
Irene and Sylvia look in fine form. Enjoy your film!
ReplyDeleteIt would also be a good day for a movie here in Iowa - overcast, cold, should have some rain. Irene and Sylvia are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteNancy in Iowa
Sun shining here in farrr N.Idaho, but really cold. Brrrrr. Haven't been by here in a hundred years. Have missed you dear John. Love Winifred, the "new" girl in your life! So cute. Hoping all the Terriers are good. My two are naughty as ever. Enjoy your movie. xx-cassie
ReplyDeleteThose hardy girls are used to this kind of weather John. It is just the same here. Water off a sheep's back!
ReplyDeleteBrrr ... we don't generally get the cold and wet until November in eastern Canada ... not looking forward to it. I need to remember what you've done and go for a treat, too.
ReplyDeleteSo cold already ? Lovely Fall weather in Tucson.
ReplyDeleteIrene and Sylvia look so nice now. Last time I saw them they had scraggly tuffs of wool hanging off of them.
cheers, parsnip
Hope you had a great time at the cinema, John!
ReplyDeleteGood for you!
ReplyDeleteMmmm.........wool!!
