Watch out don't they say owners end up looking like their dogs or is it dogs end up looking like their owners. Winne looks like she is putting up with all the limelight rather well. She's not on the sofa is she?
In my imagination there was only one other possible outcome of what you darkly hinted at: That you found her a home as good as yours. I have said it before - months ago, and I still can't believe it, you converted me to bulldog, a species I used to avoid looking at. All those Grand Canyon grooves, dear dog in heaven. How do they face themselves in the mirror every morning? Yet, Winifred is a real beauty. Just shows you "eye ... beholder" bla bla bla. It's true. Who had the casting vote? My adored Albert?
I just read all the way back to when she arrived. How could I have gone so long without knowing what shenanigans you are up to! I think she should stay. She loves you. She has soulful eyes. Adorable.
Oh please let her stay...she is so beautiful....such a lovely face...and a lovely picture of you two...it will break your heart if you give her away.....
Judging by her smug look, I think she already had that figured out. ;) And *HAHAHA* I just read Deb's comment.... hilarious!! You might have been on probation yourself, Mister. *giggle*
She looks so miserable John ..... send her back for whence she came !!!!! ..... she obviously doesn't like you !!!! hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha !!!!! Wishing you many happy times together. XXXX
You two big hunks of love. I am so doing a happy dance. I wasn't a bulldog fan either but since Mabel I have been head over heels in love with them. I just didn't know what I was missing.
Thank you to Chris for letting her be a part of the family.
I'll take a hug and kiss. No not from you John, from Winnie. Ha.
It's no surprise to read that so many comments above have stolen my thunder, but the question is - will SHE start to look (even) more like YOU? Or maybe your faces will start swapping! This is going to be so interesting.
Lovely picture of a happy couple !!
ReplyDeleteShe is beautiful, congrats.
ReplyDeleteTwins ! How can Chris not love her when you are so alike! Hope she stays especially as the rest of the pack have taken to her so well
ReplyDeleteRelief all around.
ReplyDeleteHope Tom went to hospital. John & his Blogging army certainly told him !

ReplyDeleteThat is good news, indeed.
ReplyDeleteIt's no surprise to read that so many comments above have stolen my thunder, but the question is - will SHE start to look (even) more like YOU? Or maybe your faces will start swapping! This is going to be so interesting.
