Dang, maybe I need to do that on my blog to get to 400? I've been hovering around 379 for weeks now. Someday when I grow up, I might even be at 500, LOL!

Yeah, well, John. Not sure how to put this. Ever since I have had the immeasurable pleasure of making your acquaintance I have been following you like a hound on a blood trail, like an orphaned kitten looking for an Ersatz mother, like a snail attracted to a salad crop. Not a day will go by that I don't latch onto you. You are a fixture in my life. And a happy one at that (particularly during moments I can blend out Chris and his existence). However, I am peculiarly averse to being 'a follower'. There a two or three blogs I "follow" by email but only because their authors write infrequently, so to keep logging on a bit tedious; rather just wait for notification in my inbox.
You see, John, I take great pleasure in logging onto disasterfilm, being greeted by those dinosaurs of feathers, full of anticipation what today's news are. Reading all the comments, indeed getting to know some of your commentators by their very droppings.
Truth is I do not know how many 'followers' I have. It's of no interest to me. I do not WANT to know. I might go all shy. Still, John, big sigh - if it makes you happy I'll sign on. Follow the leader - like a duckling in line. What's my number? God damn it, don't tell my father. He never wanted me to be a number.
You're sore about finding it hard to get to six HUNDRED? - while I'm languishing on THIRTY in seven years (but all of whom I'm very grateful for). Count your blessings, J.G., 'cos this is one of them.
See, you are popular! I can't even get to 60!but like Raybeard, I'm grateful for what I have and it would be such a chore for me to keep up with hundreds of others anyhoo, Congrats on your Big Number. x

Every time I click on a new Blog to add to my side bar it seems I do not get added on their Blog as a follower... guess I should go into settings or something.
Sometimes I have a cull as don't want to follow too many Blogs ( I spend enough time Blogging as it is ) but I won't cull you... I am a dedicated follower & your Blog is the first I look at every morning. You could say that I wake up with you !!! xx
