I went into work today to deliver eggs.......a staff nurse called Sue was on duty ( she's a cheerful sort of soul)
She caught me drinking a cup of coffee in the sitting room with a " I loved your blog about William stuck in the bath" comment...
" I always read your blog before I go to sleep" she added.... So I thought I would big her up before I went to bed this evening....
Thanks sue....... You always make me Larf at work so
Keep on reading
X
Ps forgive the illustration...... I didn't have a " sue" photo
That photo does give the impression that Sue looks like she's from the walking dead...
ReplyDeletethat's what I though too "Little Blue Mouse"...ah Sue you didn't know did you?
ReplyDeleteHow nice of you to "big her up", but with walking dead? Surely you have some flowers blooming someplace, John?
ReplyDeleteHello to Sue!
You are so damn sweet.....
ReplyDeleteIt's always great to have good work mates, no matter what the job. But I expect in your line of work it helps a good deal more.
ReplyDelete♥
Perhaps Sue is a Walking Dead fan?
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't have thought your blog was a soporific...but you did have a day when nothing happened.
ReplyDeleteJane x
awwwwwwwww nice to have good work friends. Plus I liked the William post too.
ReplyDeletecheers, parsnip
And YOU make people all over the world "larf". And smile, and occasionally feel a little sad. A job jolly well done, I'd say.
ReplyDeleteI usually start my day with your posts. They usually start my day off with a smile or a laugh.
ReplyDeleteNot a bedtime read for me - like SO,AC-M above, I like to start my day with a pot of coffee and your blog.
ReplyDeleteI always read your blog 1st thing on a morning to set me up for the day. I wish someone I worked with would make me "laff" (no r in it in Yorkshire!) xxxxx
ReplyDeleteYours is the first Blog I read with me tea & toast !
ReplyDeleteAh do you look like an extra from The walking Dead after night shift ?
I haven't watched since the first series... don't tell me the immaculate uniform is now grubby and the hat worn by another ? I was beginning to wonder how he kept that uniform Persil clean !
Have you seen my youtube clip ?
Oh good for Sue.
ReplyDeleteBadPenny said it already: You sure this isn't a group photo of you, Sue & other colleagues at the end of a heavy night shift?!
I think what Sue is saying is that your blog sends her to sleep. Perhaps GP's should direct insomniacs here instead of dishing out sleeping pills.
ReplyDeleteI am always grateful for those coworkers who can help me laugh.
ReplyDeleteI should think after a hospital shift, i'd want something fun to read. I usually read your blog when i'm taking a little work break, and after a good larf (or sometimes cry), i'm refreshed and ready to go back to the salt mine.
