Postscript

Well on the back of making a tit out of myself in front of a pretty face
I can at least add that I have learnt something new today
After billing and cooing over Mr Clooney
I tried to make amends by buying my first tube of doggy toothpaste
The receptionist told me that it was 'liver' flavour and seemed quite befuddled when I proceeded to open it and taste it.
Believe me...it DOES NOT taste of liver
No way
No how

  1. Silly boy!

That was the first argument I had with my mother...she would not let me taste the dog food. If I didn't like it I knew it was not good enough for my dogs. I thought about running away but instead sneaked into the smokehouse and tried it anyway. It was quite good.

  2. I'm glad I'm not the only one that goes weak at the knees at the sight of a pretty face.

  3. I used to eat 'Shapes' dog biscuits when I was a kid and I turned out just fine!
Hope you have better luck than me with doggy teeth brushing. Mine generally run off with the toothbrush and we get sod all done

  4. Hope you have better luck cleaning dog teeth than I have had with cleaning cat teeth.

  9. Ah,? But you haven't got a dog's tongue and taste buds have you (probably just as well with I think of some of the things Tess eats!)

  10. I need to try to brush my cats' teeth, but mint'n'fat's not going to make it, even if I could get the cats to think about allowing me to brush their teeth 9which is not going to happen).

  11. Wow, that's a loyal pet owner right there! Haha. I didn't know they made special toothpaste for dogs. I guess they make everything for pets nowadays!

  12. I was at the Vet's picking up finn from hos snip snip so took the opportunity to but sme new flea treatment.

Last evening having got all cats in one place at meal time I said, Don't let any of them out of the kitchen !

Then promptly opened the window out of routine & one of
them hopped out - little devil knew & was off like a shot !

  16. Would it work for people, too? How did the puppies react?

  17. Well, how were you supposed to KNOW what it tasted like if you didn't TASTE it, for goodness sake? Um, you coulda waited to taste it until you were outside, though...

  18. How are you going to get your dog to rinse and spit?

  19. But can you teach the old dogs new habits? This should be fun.

  20. Mint and fat, what a horrible mixture. Was the horsemeat flavour out of stock?

  21. We used to do that up at the rescue; Chappie, dog gravy, various brands of dog biscuit... yuck!

  22. I have tried in vain to brush our dog's teeth. Then our vet (does not look ANYTHING like George Clooney) recommended a water additive called 'Healthy Mouth'. You simply add it to their drinking water. It turns the water green and doggie breath is gone within days. I don't like to advertise, but if this product is available in your country, I would really try it.

  23. Liver flavoured? I can't imagine anything more foul.
The vet I'll fight you for.

  28. Will they rinse with a light Sauternes, or a pétillant Saumur?

  29. Eeeuw - to liver flavoured anything. Not being liver flavoured would get it additional points with me.
