10 km in Llandudno

Chris( centre) starting the race with 600 fellow health freaks

Chris at the half way point

We had no major mishaps.....a bit of pre run nerves and a quick wee in the back of the berlingo, and Chris was off with the best of them...As you can see the weather was not kind, but he managed the 10 km distance in a very respectable 1 hour 1 minute.

  12. I am so impressed! I didn't know that Chris was so athletic. It's so admirable, but now I must get back to my couch. Wouldn't want to strain a muscle or anything.

  19. Well done to C. He's clearly been bitten by the bug so get him to see today as a mere stepping stone - just a bit of training, if you will - for the biggie. Yes, the LONDON MARATHON, beckons!

  23. That is a fantastic accomplishment. I was recently in Llandudno. Rather strange time, I had a police car behind me from Llandudno to Cardigan, a distance of some thirty miles.

    Peace and all the best

  26. Chris looks totally unfazed by his 10 kilometres. In fact he looks as if he could happily do another 10 kilometres without batting an eyelid.

  39. Congrats to Chris! By the way, last night I watched an episode of a series on French tv called "Vues du ciel" (views from the air). In this edition we got to fly over northern Wales. We saw Prestatyn (at which point I said to Ken: That's very close to Trelawnyd, where John Gray lives). Then we saw Llandudno, which shows up on your blog this very morning. Lots of nifty castles up there, too.
