I wish I could flip a fried egg without breaking the yoke. My grangmother used to do it all the time, but I was too young to learn the finer points. It does take care of uncooked whites. Glad to hear that your hens are producing prodigiously.
If there was a thought bubble coming from that egg, what would it be saying? something like, "you'd look worried too, if you were about to get your head bashed in and your bum dipped in hot oil".
LOL love the photo - reminds me of a recipe i found on the internet for deviled eggs - they made them look like little yellow fluffy chicks resting in each hard boiled egg - how can i eat such cuteness staring back up at me? easily... :D
Thank goodness for that - I had to buy some from the supermarket as we had run out - they just don't taste the same as those from your hens fed on spaghetti and other delicacies! I'll have half a dozen when you've got them, please. By the way, Happy New Year to you and Chris.

ReplyDeleteIf you're drawing faces on your eggs, I suspect you may have too much time on your hands...

DeleteSo dissillusioned, now! I totally pictured you with a crayon in the kitchen...
DeleteCan you spare a dozen sir?
ReplyDeleteMy hens are on strike! I'm getting maybe 2 eggs a day out of 13 hens. I need to have a talk with those girls.
ReplyDeleteYour eggies look delish. Happy new year!
When you serve my eggy breakfast along with a cup of English Breakfast Tea, can I have a massage please?

ReplyDeleteI think I'll have breakfast for dinner tonight! ;)
ReplyDeleteLucky you! My lady had to buy eggs today. 16 hens and not one egg in weeks! Good thing she loves those chickens (except Dimity, who is annoying)!
ReplyDeleteMmm fresh eggs. Another thing, like home-grown tomatoes which puts the ones bought in a shop to shame.
