Zombie Charm?

Carol and Daryl
And so the 1970s disaster film continues
The Walking Dead Survivors take over a prison months after the second series left them farmless and broken, and we are introduced to a very different set of characters than we knew in rural Atlanta.
Rick ( Andrew Lincoln) is meaner and more focused alpha leader. The women and Carl ( the only child) are toughened up and now are an integral parts of the group and psychologically damaged redneck Daryl (Norman Reedus) and former "useless baggage" Carol (Melissa mcBride) are friends enough to flirt together like normal people which was a nice gentle touch in an episode where we saw some very serious zombie ass kicking!
I don't care if I sound like a geek
It was a Great roller- coaster ride !

  2. I have one reservation though
I hope the series does not lose it's humanity
it's the little moments of normality that make it!

    1. I agree. I'm told it follows rather close the graphic novels, but I've never read them...I guess we will have to wait and see.

Do you get the Talking Dead across the pond(the talk show after each episode)

    2. no we dont
which I am glad for... I dont see the point of analyzing it all to death...... suffice to say I prefer the human story rather than a video game kill fest!
The whole thing is basically the POSEIDON ADVENTURE with the undead!

  7. Just cannot get into the zombie thing. really just can't. But I did love your boobage post yesterday. We did lots of unprofessional things in hospice, but every single one was "therapeutic" in its own way

  8. Oh man it was excellent wasn't it? What a great start to the series, lets hope the tension keeps up and Rick takes his shirt off!

  10. Wasn't it great? You're a week behind us here, I get the next one tonight! Woo hoo! In about 7 hours, ha. Great, intense episode. Here in the states, the premiere broke all kinds of ratings records for cable television. I love it! Whenever I talk about our farm to 2nd Man, I say things like "the zombies couldn't get past this" or "this grove of trees would be a great zombie lookout point". I get a lot of eye rolling but I don't care, I love it. ;-)
