ReplyDeleteI'm rooting for Semolina and Polenta. Because I can. They just have such a duckish ring to them.

ReplyDeleteMy second choice would be Semolina and Polenta...Sema and Pola!
Tosh and Brian are my favourites....

ReplyDeleteI think me have got to get me more ducks!
ReplyDeleteI think I'd go for the alliterative Molly and Maude.
ReplyDeletevoting for Bogart and Bacall.
ReplyDeletethank you all... nice to see you liz x
ReplyDeleteSemolina and Polenta for me please.
ReplyDeleteI'd love one of them to be called Brian. I don't know why, but that really amuses me!
ReplyDeletee too ouse but I suspect both are gals
ReplyDeleteThanks for liking Brian, John ..... I LOVE that name ..... it conjures up memories of Monty Python and The Magic Roundabout and just makes me laugh ( sorry all of you Brian's out there but, it's a compliment) ..... and, you need short names, as you can't be calling out long ones !! Perhaps you could call one Brian and one Dylan .... after the spaced out rabbit in The Magic Roundabout ..... you will smile everytime you see them and there's nothing like a smile and a laugh to start the day, or anytime of the day ! XXXX
ReplyDeleteI guess I'm the lone Daryl and Carol vote. I like the nerdish fact that they sound the same but are spelled differently, and that they are uni-sex so will work no matter what.
ReplyDelete"carol" is out of the running as a new hen arrived today called "carol"
ReplyDeletesorry leslie x
A girl duck called Brian would be even funnier!
ReplyDeleteTosh and Miolly or Stan and Tosh
ReplyDeleteYou have a new hen?
ReplyDeleteFor the ducks, I like Molly and Otis.
That's fun! I do think you need at least 322 ducks to satisfy all of your readers! xoxoxo
ReplyDeleteGreat finalists!!! But of course I'd have to go with 'Nova' and 'Scotia'!!!
ReplyDeleteSemolina and Polenta. But I think you should call one Natalie. ;)
ReplyDeleteShari Baby...better win!!!
ReplyDeleteNova and Scotia!!
ReplyDeleteJane x
Honestly - don't like any of those as they as so passé and really not topical.
ReplyDeleteNow, "Duck" and "Down", or "Eider" and "Down" would be OK but what's wrong with "Duck 1" and "Duck 2"? LOL!
If both are gals, Molly & Maude are very farm girlish I think? LOL
ReplyDeleteHave to go with Nova and Scotia!

ReplyDeleteBogart and Bacall. No competition.
ReplyDeleteBrian and maude. Had a puppy boy I called Brian. Currently have a chicken called Maude. She survived a fox attack despite all the odds and has recovered so well she is back to laying and being 'broody''.
ReplyDeleteBogart and Bacall. Priceless. Do ducks smoke? Humphrey and Lauren did light up so beautifully, elegantly. Together.
ReplyDeleteU
It's just GOT to be 'Semolina & Polenta', hasn't it?
ReplyDeleteBogart an Bacall of course! ;-)
ReplyDeleteSemolina and Polenta sound good to me.
ReplyDeleteTosh & Otis, are my favs I think. Though I also like Stan & Brian.
ReplyDeleteHmmm, tough choice. Of course, nobody nominated Foie and Gras. Not even me.
ReplyDeleteSuddenly, I'm hungry. Um, what was the question?
Sorry to have deleted my first attempt at this comment. I mispelled "foie." Oh, the shame. :(
I thought all ducks were called Donald?
ReplyDeleteBogart and Bacall x
ReplyDeleteMolly and Maude . . . Duckie! x
ReplyDeleteDorothy & Judy ( my grand mother & a favourite aunt ) tho I love Semolina the Donkey mentioned previously.
ReplyDeleteI had a boyfriend called Brian once x
I'm partial to Daryl and Carol... or Daryl and his other brother Daryl (from an old American TV series)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely Bogart and Bacall
ReplyDeleteIt's Daryl and Carol for me. Or Dick and Dora!
ReplyDeleteNOVA and SCOTIA.....no brainer!!!
