Some songs catch you unawares
I was driving back from work this morning and heard this one
Perhaps, it was the words,
Perhaps it was the beauty of the voice,
Perhaps it was the fact I was over tired,
The whole thing made me tear up
My hearing isn't good enough to make out the words - but the voice alone is beautiful enough to bring tears. Then I looked up the lyrics - what a combo, especially on no sleep and dealing with the things you have on your plate. xx
I didn't know who sang this song but it goes with a tea advert I think and usually I hate adverts but this one is lovely. Its quite beautiful and such a natural voice. I can understand how it moved you. Briony x
I had difficulty understanding some of the lyrics, but her voice has a haunting quality to it. It wasn't just you, John. It's her voice, and the sincerity she projects.
I wrote her name down so I can look her up.. What a beautiful voice she has and the lyrics were enough to bring tears to my eyes too. Thanks for posting this.. Have a Tiggeriffic Day~ ta ta for now from Iowa:)
