Calling all Trelawnyd Residents
I have been asked by Pat ( the affable and hard working, warden for the village Sheltered Housing) to do a BIG UP for her table top sale, which takes place this Saturday at the Memorial Hall -between the times of 11am and 3pm.
Lunches are available to buy and there are many stalls to view at the sale
Proceeds for the day will be given to the Macmillian Cancer Nurses, a brilliant and well deserving cause.
So if you have a spare few minutes on Saturday why not pop along and support her event
You'll be a nice person if you do!

The Macmillan Nurses are so brilliant. When we went through a bit of a blip again a couple of years ago the one my O/H had was fantastic. We had to go to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham. She was so supportive. John I wish Pat so much for her table top sale.
ReplyDeleteThank you Molly, I will pass on your best wishes to Pat
ReplyDeleteI love going to those! Too bad it's across the pond... I hope there is a good turn out!
ReplyDeleteMae'n ddrwg gennym ond ni fyddaf yn gallu cefnogi y tabl gwerthiant uchaf
ReplyDeleteHope she does well with it.
ReplyDeleteEven if I set out now - I'd be too late. Story of my life. I hope it all goes well and heaps of money is made for what you rightly describe as a worthy cause.

Oh goodness John...I wish I could be there for the sale! I'm a sucker for things like this. You're such a nice fellow to tell us all about it and I hope lots of your local readers go out and enjoy a little outing ...good food and a nice visit. Let's hope the weather co-operates ;) Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteMaura :)

ReplyDeleteIf she's got one of those orange and green plastic pineapple ice buckets; I'll have it.....only 50p mind.

Speaking of support, I think you need one of these calendars:

Hey, I got two and I'm a hetero woman! It's hilarious, and the Poultry Club of Great Britain kindly shipped to Canada.
Hope the sale goes well and brings in lots of moola for your cause!
Mcmillan nursing - one of the best charities ever. When I nursed my first husband through his final illness I would have been hard pressed to manage a single day without their love and care.
ReplyDeleteYou really are a softie, aren't you? Super that you're helping with this, and too bad I can't be there. We seem to agree on many things, but on this one, I'm afraid we're (ahem) oceans apart.
ReplyDeleteHold a spot for us! lol Wish we could go too!
