The Cornerhouse in Manchester (left) |
I have already told him I am need of a break, so the order of the day is a trip to the art house cinema "The Cornerhouse", a few wines, a fair amount of fattening food and a great deal of frivolous chatter..
I need to re group just a little and laugh a lot......my tolerance is low at the moment
Rest, enjoy, return.
ReplyDeleteProbably a good time. Enjoy yourself and laugh a lot, please.
ReplyDeleteWine and frivolity are the best medicines, I always say.
ReplyDeleteHave a great time. x
ReplyDeleteDo what you have to do John....whatever works!

I decided a long time ago that most platitudes are designed to make the bestower feel better.
ReplyDeleteIf I was nearer I'd have brought round a cake (I guess I'd have felt better then cos it would be you getting fatter!)
Hope your nose doesn't glow red with all the crying- how come in the movies they all look so GLAMOROUS amid the tears, whereas real people just end up with snot on our chins?

Look after yourself mate.
ReplyDeleteHave a good time.
Don't live in up too much John and come home with a sore head. Enjoy yourself - you have deserved it.
ReplyDeleteHave fun!
ReplyDeleteSounds like just the ticket - have a blast!
ReplyDeleteHave a great time, John!
ReplyDeleteDrink some wine for me! Just one though - I am still recovering from my own alcohol therapy session last evening.
ReplyDeleteNot that you need this Mr Popular, but...

Good ol' Manchester. Let your hair down. :D
ReplyDeleteHope your spirit is soothed, John, after what has been a bit of hard time for you of late.
ReplyDeleteNo platitudes - just a simple "I'm sorry". I've missed "my" blogs for a few days and just learned about Constance, that funny little girl, on Isobelle's blog.
ReplyDeleteNancy in Iowa
Hope you had a great evening.
ReplyDeleteWell, I guess you're back from Manchester now. Hope you had a nice break.
ReplyDeleteI've only ever been to manchester once...in 1973. Saw my first (and hopefully last) chinese-chippy.
ReplyDeleteAnd as dreadful as you may feel right now..isn't it wonderful to have had the opportunity to love?
